It's fascinating watching that old equipment doing it's work! Really goes to show how far things have advanced in a relatively short time. Those old timers running this stuff day in and day out were definitely tough people. Thanks for sharing this in action Mark!
Thanks for bringing us along Mark. It looked like another terrific show. Good seeing ZZ vertical and walking around without shackles on wrists or ankles. Wishing you three gentlemen and your families another blessed week filled with gentle seasonally appropriate weather. Peace brother
Howdy Lads! Enjoy your videos immensely. Watching this old mill in action amazes me thinking of the billions of board-feet milled during the time of both war and prosperity. Time surely gets away from us, but memories of machines like these is like therapeutic shot in the arm.
My wife and I really enjoyed the Steam show Saturday. The weather was a little crapy early but after my wife and I met you Eddy and ZZ the weather cleared up and was surprisingly nice. I showed my wife the picture you took of her , Eddy, ZZ, and me. She hates to have her picture taken, but she said she thought she looked good standing beside Eddy. She was surprised to find out I watched such nice people as you guys on RUclips. Thanks for all you do. Joe
Glad you were able to make it ZZ, Hi Mark and Eddie! The Frick saw looked like it was cutting pretty good too bad the steam engine was out of service I like those engines. Cheers Ya'll John
I sure enjoyed meeting u'all at the show. Glad ZZ was out on good behavior...LOL I liked the show with all the BIG IRON. And I talked to many nice people. I hope to go back in August with one of my small JD tractors.
Incredible video, I really enjoyed this one as I do all the videos you and Eddie make. While I feel im a bit to old to start into being a sawyer it is a lot of fun watching and learning more. Was great seeing the cameo with ZZ popping in and seeing him wondering about. Thanks so much for you wonderful content and looking forward to the next.
many thanks for doing the video. Would loved to have been there. Much bigger than the shows we have in England and different equipment. Keep the videos coming. Good luck.
I agree, it looked like the operator of that old mill could easily trip and fall into the blade, unless there was something there I couldn't see because of the camera angle.
Wow, there is a lot of equipment there; even earth moving equipment. I am glad that some of your fans found you. Now that I moved, I would have to go to a different steam engine show. Good to see you.
Grandpa would love this. Someday I'll love to get there; all of Pennsylvania really. Hey ZZ good to see you too. Oh, and Grandpa said that first mill was a LOT ( emphasis on LOT) Like what he used as an apprentice in 1938ish.
hi there looks like a great show and made better bu seeing all 3 of you guys , better put a short leash on ZZ keep him from running away again , Best to all john
Great video Mark, Eddie and ZZ Mark. Good to see ZZ Mark back. Hope everyone had a great time. Was Letsdig18 there. All being well weather permitting i should be going to a vintage rally in the UK on Monday. Take care.
That was a really cool video, Mark! I was trying to get over there but life got in the way. I'm about 4 hours away in eastern PA, so I'll try to make it next year. -->Ric
Hi Mark, Ed, & ZZ. Turned to be a great day. My first time seeing the bulldozer place. ( You didn't show it last year.) Thanks everyone. 😍😊😉👍👍❤️💜🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Mark on bark removal: "Look at that, just like taking a jacket off."....which reminds me to thank my wife for that Hard Bark 80's Throw-Back 'Members Only' jacket she got me for Christmas. Now conversely, Slippery Scampering ZZ's Police Jacket is a lot thicker, and harder to shed. Where is that Steamed Pike booth? Love me some steamed pike.
Really neat, Mark. I haven't seen a power shovel or dragline like those in a long time. I usually like to look for tractor brands that I haven't heard of before. What was the power source for the sawmill? You just had to show ZZ going into the port-a-potty, didn't you lol? Bill
I dont know man. Big-um needs a safety shield to block him from the spinning blade if he trips. Lord knows he cant move fast. He nearly tripped himself @ 4:21. Hopefully OSHA doest show up.
Hi Guys! Thanks for the video! Lot of cool stuff there. I hope to make it up there one of these years! Haha. Looks like the Cat dozer toward the end was the one Matt from Diesel Creek had just bought. Did y’all run into him or any other RUclipsrs? Thanks again…looking forward to this week’s snack video or Friday Eve video.
Hi Mark & Hi Eddies & Hi ZZ Mark & it's is Randy and i like yours video is cool & Thank Mark & Eddies & ZZ Mark & Friends Randy ( AT Remind Charles Lngalls Work at The Saw Miller ON The Litter House Prairie ) Thanks Randy
Great to see all those old machines working the dirt. Interesting video, thanks guys. Life is easier with hydraulics!

Have to admit...I enjoyed seeing the dog sitting in the bed of the side by side in front of the mill 😊
Thank you for another great video. Cheers
This is very very very very very very cool! Wish there was something like that here in Ontario Canada
Loverly old Mill, standing soooo close to the blade with no type of guard terrifies the cr@p out of me just watching.
you need to check out Fricknjeep on RUclips , he runs the same mill all by him self.
@HomeTable-us9fq - it looked like the operator could easily trip and fall into the rotating saw blade.
Nice video Mark, bet you guys had fun! Good to see all the old buddies back together again.. Enjoyed it a lot guys.... :) 💯🙏
When machines were made to last. No throw-away stuff. 👍😊
LOOKS GOOD,,,, FOR THE SCHOOL PICK UP LINE,,, EXCELLENT VIDEO!!! 👍👍👍🤠

😊thanks for the video guys. The way things are going in South Africa, we may all need to revert to steam before long

we were glad to meet you Paul , soo many nice people at the show.
Приятно было увидеть снова ZZ Марка.
Nice to see the old school equipment looks like a nice time
Grandpa would love this. Someday I'll love to get there; all of Pennsylvania really. Hey ZZ good to see you too. Oh, and Grandpa said that first mill was a LOT ( emphasis on LOT) Like what he used as an apprentice in 1938ish.
we would love to meet you and grandpa someday!
When I see all the all steam powered equipment, I am forever greatful for the inventor of hyraulics and internal combustion engines.
Yeah, I feel the same way. My father had a Keck Gonerman steam engine and used to take it to shows like this. I never really got into it.
yes for sure.
Dont forget Nickolas Tesla for the electric motor and the fabulous polyphase induction motor! Absolutely revolutionary.
Missed the show this year. Went for the first time just before Covid and had a ball.
hi there looks like a great show and made better bu seeing all 3 of you guys , better put a short leash on ZZ keep him from running away again , Best to all john
WOW, great to see ZZ again. Missed him.

Groetjes van uit Holland 👋🏼🇳🇱
thank you , Greetings Holland!
Are there any lumber mills left in the Netherlands - or are they all gone now because there is no more timber harvesting in your part of Europe?
That looks like it was a lot of fun to be at!
First saw mills was a pit and two guys with a handsaw.

Funny steam show without steam powering the sawmill.
yes true the old steam engine was taken out of service due to safety .
It's amazing what you can do with boiling water 😁
Cool show

Fun time.

Did they have any Rumely Oil Pull tractors there? Years ago a friend had a one he ran his antique sawmill with
we only had a little time to go look around but I am sure they did.
Good show! Glad you enjoyed it! Wish I could have been there. Did you run into Diesel creek?
I dont know man. Big-um needs a safety shield to block him from the spinning blade if he trips. Lord knows he cant move fast. He nearly tripped himself @ 4:21. Hopefully OSHA doest show up.
Good video Bus Motor Productions
