Definitely dirt tracks and nature all the way up.. You're right, it's not long, but for some people it would be challenging. It's a nice beginners hike anyways!
Looks so quiet and peaceful and the views! Both my wife and I suffer from vertigo, so would walk on the inside! We live in Southampton and the airport is 2 miles away, and.. we hear a B.A. subsiduary is starting up flights to Mallorca soon. However, got to get over the present restrictions.
The good thing is that the path is quite wide so you don't feel like you're going to fall off, but I understand re. vertigo! And fantastic news about Southampton airport. I'll keep an eye on this too as I fly to the south west airports too! I'm sure the restrictions will lift come the Spring (in time for better weather!).
I stayed there for a week last year in december. It was amazing. I drove always till the half of it. Because every day a hour walk As a bit to much lol. But waking up with the view is worth the struggle to get up there. Really recommend to go there. I petted thesame cat last year ♥️ such a cutie!
This is an old vid ! You should get lucky with parking! So park on the outskirts of the town near the start of the walk (near the roundabout layby area). Don't try on a Sunday though (Market day)
@@MallorcaUnderTheSun it came up in my feed as Ive been researching the hike, nice to see how your style has evolved! 🙂 Thanks for the parking and timing tips, I'll post some pics on the FB page afterwards 🙂👍
Hi Anders - yes, I love this walk and have done it many times but before I started this channel. Next time I go, and it will be after the summer, I'll make this video. Check on wikiloc in the meantime for a route, but I can guarantee it's absolutely lovely!
That was a great walk from my armchair! 😂 Stunning views, thanks for showing us. 😊

It does, and I know I haven't found them all yet!
Another great video Alex 👍😃
Apologies for the late reply - RUclips has somehow hidden some of my comments, but thank you x
Great Video Alex. What fantastic views!
Thanks a lot Jonathan (apologies for the very late reply but I really appreciate you commenting! )
Excellent vlog, I love to venture up the Puig with a picnic. It’s great to wake up and see the mountain each morning. 👍🏻
Ah, of course! This is literally on your doorstep! It's such a lovely corner of the island. The views are amazing!

Having done it I’d say it was more of a walk than hike. It’s 90% (albeit rough) road. For me hiking implies dirt tracks and nature.

Wow, beautiful scenery.
It is a peaceful and beautiful place.
Thanks for sharing the video. 😀
I’m glad you enjoyed it ! More to come - it’s officially hiking season on the island until it warms up again!
Excellent video,,,
Thanks Andrew! 🙌

It’s great you made the walk ! And Hahaha the cat is famous - he has a way of “talking” to visitors - I couldn’t say “no” when I was having my lunch 😻
Im going to be doing this walk in October 2024!! :)
How is parking in the area??
