I don't know what was holding my tank cover on. I had all 7 screws removed as well as all 6 gas cap screws removed (I have a tank bag ring). The back would pivot up a bit and so would the front. Something just ahead of the gas cap was holding it on. Go figure.
Lol, what do you expect? Titanium or even Gold just bbecause it´s a premium bike? ;) The airfilter removal on a GS is quite simple and can be done by anyone. Did you know, that you have to remove the gastank on a KTM to change the airfilter? Think twice mate. ;)
Thanks.
Glad it helped!
Great, thanx! Got a K&N and your video is gonna be a great help!
Very helpful! Thanks Adam.
Thanks, appreciate your time! Cheers
Thank you Jake. enjoy your GS!
Thank you from Thailand.

Very odd. It’s a firm pull and the clips will give way. Sorry.
Nice video. Thanks.
so easy compared to the stupid Honda AfricaTwin!
😍😘BMW GSA 1200😘😍
its made of Tupperware and spring clips, lol ... thats the most cumbersome air filter cover ever seen on a motorcycle

If you think this is cumbersome, then do a search for Goldwing GL1800 air filter change. This is a walk in the park compared to that.
@@mbtfp YESSS anyway is a really PLASTIC BIKE.
@@mbtfp yeah remove gas tank on all sports bikes too
and you can do it on side road using only tools that come with the bike.
