I have been tying stimulators for quite a while. I use the post material as well, but not on top for visibility. I tie it as an underwing, because it will hold a bubble of air. Even when your fly is about drowned, it will still have some buoyancy.
Great fly. Thanks, This came up at the end of the rubber legged stimulator you tied today so I thought I would watch it as well. Great tie as usual. All the best, Sean
i know Im asking the wrong place but does anybody know a method to get back into an instagram account? I was dumb lost my password. I would appreciate any tricks you can give me
@Bobby Maximiliano I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site thru google and im in the hacking process atm. Takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
As always, great tie, and a nice looking fly. What are the advantages of reverse palmering with the wire? I have seen it done in several videos before, but never understood why. Thanks.
It stops a hackle from unraveling and makes a fly last longer. I generally leave my tag of thread to reverse palmer hackle or a delicate fiber like peacock or pheasant tail.
