This is so cool and fab to sing a long too as a backing track - awesome stuff! Have you ever done a 101 version of Somebody at all with just the piano accompaniment?
A second time you did a great cover of a really great song I ask you: Please please can I have this backing track it would be great if I could play this for my girl friend :)
RJ8 I used to do DM covers Back in the 90s... Please tell me, where did you get that iron at the end of the chorus that hits 16 times on the last measure? And, I guess you take the sample from that arp bass from a remix when, in the beggining it appears Aline, not talking about the Christmas Island bass. How you change the notes from it. Pitch change? Cheers!
The iron sound it's done with Synth1. I have to be honest and tell you that a friend gave me many samples of this song. I just used them to make this cover. If you want I can give those samples to you so you can check them out.
I fail to see how anyone could dislike this!
Loving this on the 33rd anniversary of this show! Fantastic job RJ8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have Alan's 101 samples for this song, but they sound slightly different on my Emax II
maybe you are using the devotional samples for this song.
Possibly. I actually first learned this song on guitar...which the chord progression plays very well on 6 strings.
Wrong chords in chorus, my friend...but good sound and samplers.
👍
Hands down! How did you get that bass sound?!
Hey there! The bass is taken from Christmas Island and I layered that sound with a Emulator II bass sample.
