Always a lot of messages about what we eat, so I thought I would add a day, what I eat. Romy & Claire eat about the same. Romy eats more than me and Claire eats less. Fred also eats this, but Fred eats much larger quantities. He also eats meat every day. My day was on a weekday. Then we eat a bit healthier, as few processed products as possible and at the weekend we eat fries, pizza, cookies, etc. My breakfast: banana, pear, cottage cheese, peanut butter and fiber. My lunch: high-fiber cracker with smoked chicken, alfalfa, pickle and boiled egg. Snack: protein shake in speculaas flavour. Dinner: vegetables from the oven. Piece of chocolate. As additional supplements I take vitamin D3 (too little sun strength in the Netherlands), B12 (I don't eat meat every day), Folic acid (I have a serious deficiency due to my periods together with iron), magnesium (for my muscles). I can't swallow tablets, so everything is liquid or powder. We eat as varied as possible every day. Tomorrow I will have oatmeal for breakfast with fruit and extra nuts, avocado with egg for lunch and fish dish for dinner. I'm also going to make some sprouts this week. That's my favorite meal. I am not a big eater as I eat large portions at once but small portions throughout the day. xxx Eveline

Thank you for sharing all of this with us...... I'm 70 yrs. old, trying to live as long as possible, since I am helping raise my 8 yr. old granddaughter. I have always been overweight and smoked for 30 years. I quit 15 yrs ago but it took 3 different attempts to be successful (cold-turkey, medication, hypnotherapy). I slowly lost about 70 pounds ( 31 kilos?) during that time due to the same hypnotherapy. It is interesting to see what you eat and it appears to be very healthy. I appreciate that you allow yourself "bad food" treats occasionally......Eveline, you inspire me to eat healthy, lose weight and clean my house ! Thank you so much !

i went from eating processed meats to eating steaks (more expensive). But I haven't felt better in a long time! And eggs too! (not the cheapest CIA eggs but straight from the farmer's market)

Hi, Fred eats twice a day. Breakfast and dinner, he eats healthy but a lot. Now that he has stopped smoking, he sometimes eats lunch too. For breakfast he has 2 large whole wheat sandwiches with egg, cheese, tomato, cucumber and ham. When he has lunch he has 6 sandwiches with tuna, cheese, lettuce, tomato, chicken, etc. For dinner he eats a plate full of vegetables with fish or meat. Fred likes a beer every day and he wants to drink less of it. xx

Here in USA , pets are becoming very sick and some are dying, from dry food ( kibbles) and canned food.A lot of brands and also prescription pet food. Something that comes from China, all companies get from the same supplier…. 😩💔
A raw diet always has a larger amount than kibble or canned food. We give Loulou & Coco more than the official guidelines, but less is impossible otherwise they will become too thin. It is important to vary as much as possible in a week and try out the portions. After a few days when they lose some fat you can increase the portions and when they gain some weight you can decrease the portions. I pay close attention to their posture and how much I give them. I always check what they have eaten each week. They must eat muscle meat, bones, organs and skin/feathers/hair for extra fiber (can also be ground). I give some extra vegetables in between, but not a lot. xx

He is a wealth of information along with Ryan Taylor and others. I appreciate each of you. I don't weigh it, I look at their posture to see how it goes. If they are slimmer and tend towards thin, I give them more. If they become fuller, I feed them less. It was a bit of a puzzle at first, but now I know exactly how much they should eat every day.
I never used supplements before, I don't like them, but I have to take these because my blood tests showed that I have a serious deficiency in that category. I can never eat those amounts with healthy food, so that's why I take a supplement. Due to my heavy periods I lose too many of those vitamins at once.
😂😂. Only me, not the rest of the family. I have serious deficiencies that require me to take pills and drink shakes in high doses. Eating healthy cannot help me with that. xx

Really need to get my cat off dry Iams and on to real food, but she won't eat real food, I have tried !! Help !!
Maybe try mixing a tiny amount in with her dry and increase the amount every week. Slowly introducing might prevent upset stomach.

What is it with people thinking they are eating healthy, but only thing they do is add more and more supplements to their food..
I never used supplements before, I don't like them, but I have to take these because my blood tests showed that I have a serious deficiency in that category. I can never eat those amounts with healthy food, so that's why I take a supplement. Due to my heavy periods I lose too many of those vitamins at once.
Is funny how the animals eat the real healthy food while the owners eat processed food and drinks in form of powder, pills, crakers or shakes.
😂😂. Only me, not the rest of the family. I have serious deficiencies that require me to take pills and drink shakes in high doses. Eating healthy cannot help me with that. xx
