    You show a very necessary set of techniques for modelers, the ability to utilize manual brush strokes and sponge blots instead of totally relying on an airbrush like so many seem to do for weathering. Of course the brush painted tank is magnificent and shows the beginner and experienced just what can be done with a brush.

      I found lots of people appreciate videos that are brush painting ones. I'm getting back into the hobby so using a brush seemed like a good place to start until I mastered the airbrush. Glad you liked it, check out my Hellcat vid its got a good technique for pre-shading you might like! Cheers

      Cheers, really happy with the Vallejo wash’s! Going to collect all of them I think. I was impressed at how the yellow pinged up the Olive so nicely. Chipping fluid to try next 😀👍

    A few random drops of bird poop 3:30 IS a reasonable weathering/realism technique. Tanks do sit a lot and if they're parked under trees (for shade) for crew comfort when they're not moving, random birds are apt to poop all over them indiscriminately.

      Ha ha that's a level of realism not even Mig has gone too...

    This T-72B1 had number 113 on its turret, not number 1.

    • @modkitmayhem
      @modkitmayhem  2 года назад +1

      The Zvezda kit was so different from 113 I decided to just keep the theme simple in the end. You can always do 113 on your own one 😀👍

      You are right... I should have done it all rusty and burnt with no Turret!
