Thanks for this informative review. TV Bowling Supply is far and away my favorite pro shop. Service is exceptional….can come in and buy a ball, get it fitted, drilled, etc in under an hour. Bought the x-cell, ascent, and iq ruby from you all this year! Love the x-cell and the ruby…threw my best series of the year (750) with the ascent for 2.5 of the games (ruby for last half of the game) but it’s actually my least favorite of the three. I like it but i am less sure when to use it. Just not as predictable for me. Great work guys!
Current 3 bag rotation is Attention Star, Hustle Rip, and Optimum Idol for traditional thumb in. My other rotation for 2 handed lefty, (I’m ambidextrous) I use Hustle Rip, Lightning Blackout, and Optimum idol.
For multiple senior leagues, my 3-ball bag contains the Attention Star, Summit Ascent and the OG Xponent. Love all three but I've had the Xponent the longest and it's still my favorite and most used ball.
Attention Star already been a killer purchase for me. Couple sweeper cashes, 700+ sets in league, plus shot my 5th 300 with it last month. I might buy a case of them.
Just got one last week, myself! It's a phenomenal ball. I use it with my Summit Peak. Sometimes I use the Phase 2 for all 3 games at league, and sometimes I split them up. Just depends on what the lanes are telling me. The Phaze 2 can be thrown on just about anything!
Glad to see y'all liking Summit Ascent too. I had a chance to see Belmo throw it in the summer and it looked fantastic. Chris liking it too makes me feel like it'll be a sleeper Pro ball in the PBA next year
I have the optimum idol solid and I’m about to receive the Pearl in the main I feel like the optimum idol pearl will be better but I love the idol series
Just got the Optimum Idol Solid about two weeks ago for my birthday and it's amazing! It's a very fun ball to throw and it's an amazing benchmark type of ball.

Just ordered the Attention Star S2, never had the original, but right now I have in the bag is, Ion Pro and Zen Gold Label, then i swap around between a Vebo, Original Sublime, and Original Summit. but Soon to be, Attention Star S2, Ion pro, and Zen Gold Label.

Ion Pro works for me in league and tournaments, it gave me control. It’s great for league and tournaments, and it’s a bang for ur buck😉, considering how much money I’ve made from it this yr.😄😄😄
Optimum idol was my favorite ball of the year. Recently got the pearl and it’s just a perfect combo. Surprised the pearl wasn’t on here. Really similar to phaze ai so it makes a little bit of sense I guess. I didn’t do good with phaze 2 so I got optimum idol just did good. It’s not my favorite ball in my bag but I love it. And the pearl
Would you guys recommend the ION pro to a newer bowler? Lower speeds and rev dominant 2hand. Wanted a "one ball does it all" to grow with. It's on my shortlist along with the IQ tour solid/phase II and the lower end entry hustle
I'm surprised the Optimum Idol Pearl didn't make the top 10-. I'm very happy with my Attention Star and Optimum Idol Pearl for league (along with a Storm Mix). I'm not planning on buying another ball for the time being. I'd rather use what I have and focus on bowling more consistently,, while trying to get my average up.

Yes would love to see any channel tackle this. Low rev, low speed. I bowl every week, get better every season, but currently am struggling to figure out my ball, it’s no longer working for me even though my consistency is getting great. Our pro shop is not at all knowledgeable so they aren’t helpful. Just really need suggestions on balls to up my game to get to the next level for both league and tournament.
ion max is my ball of the year. it replaced my xcell, i literally can use is longer in league than the xcell(all 3 games), where xcell might be usable for a game and a half.

Surprised no 900 Global balls. Harsh Reality has been money for me. I do have a Phaze 2 and it's easily the best ball I've had...do need to get a second one

I know it came out very recently, but loving my Ion Max. Really helping me get pins late in league.
Favorite is the X-Cell, very smooth and controllable.

Optimum Idol is a killer. Shot my first 600 series with it and had the front 8 the other day for a new PB of 263. It just does the thing.

I think I would git a Phaze AI. I like the look of the ball going down lane. smooth and clean.

this was roto grips year, attention stars, idols, xcell and hustles all insanely good
Phase II in the current bag. Probably will get an Ion Pro next for a step down ball.

All. Takes more surface very well to handle more oil. You can also polish it to get a bit more down lane motion out of it.

They are still made in the same factory as they always have been. We both have recently drilled new ones and they roll as good as ever!
