    Imagine outfitting every single gaurdsmen with the best most upgraded fallout PA you can, which would be easy.
    Increased strength equals heavier weapons, as canonically the PA was developed to allow soldiers to carry mounted weapons freely, and mounted lascannons and boltors are very powerful.
    Those 10,000 gaurdsmen are now a much more dangerous threat to the imperiums enemies.

    Fallouts Power Armor is basically universal with how easy it is to use and make it (Fallout 4 really makes that apparent with all the raiders who use it), and basically any person can just jump into it and use it well. Also the upgrades.
    Yeah Space Marine armor is basically a tank in *EVERY* sense of the word, but you need to be a *Space Marine* to get the full advantage of it

      The Sisters of Battle aren't super soldiers and they use power armor that operate on the same system of servo motors and fiber optic bundles. It doesn't take a Space Marine to use their power armor . But normal humans don't get the benefits of being neutrally linked to the power armor.
      It's not like Halos MJOLNIR power armor that can and will rip a normal human apart if they try to use it.
      Space Marine Armor can be calibrated to the user. Granted a normal human would be shot for trying to use it. Because just like with an Astartes Bolter that is the property of the chapter and of the Emperor and you mortal are not allowed to use it.

      @einarr7301 7 месяцев назад +2

      Astartes armor isnt supposed to be mass produced though. Every chapter has 1000 hand picked marines, no more no less. When marines are killed, their armor weapons and gene seed are recovered. Anything still operable will be reused by another marine.
      Some weapons and pieces of armor are ancient relics that have been in service for hundreds if not thousands of years

    • @John2r1
      @John2r1 7 месяцев назад

      @@einarr7301 The armor is often damaged some are so badly damage that the armor has to be replaced. The standard armor is the Mk VII Aquila armor. Which is made from Plasteel and Ceramite. They lost the knowledge of how to produce Adamantium. Which older and much rarer armors were made with.
      Also those weapons and armor relics are held in reserve and never given out to common Astartes. The Astartes have a ranking system just like the military in the real world. And technology is withheld by rank. So those relics are not found on the battlefield in 99.9% of battles.
      So given the things that kill Astartes most of their suits technology and armor is damaged beyond repair. They might find a working shoulder piece and some leg armor . All the vital parts are in the chest and helmet . So those are going to be severely damage pieces. Also Gene Seed material formed in the two gene seeds that are removed are removed after a set number of years rather the Astartes is alive or not.
      Five standard years after implantation, the Progenoid Gland in the neck contains mature gene-seed and may be removed and its germ cells harvested, while the larger chest Progenoid is not considered ready for harvesting until 10 standard years have passed.
      So the first 10 years they have to play it safe and not get themselves killed. After that well we see 150 years old Captain Titus charging Orkz and Demons .. so gloves come off and they start getting into the real fighting. Also note an Astartes usually remains in a Scout Squad for a minimum of 10 years. So they aren't even sent into direct combat until after the gene seeds that must be removed are removed.

    One question about astartes armor durability. in one of your earlier videos you estimated that atartes power armor at it's thickest was 5-15 inches (127mm-381mm) and was resistant against modern 25mm auto cannon, however in your other video regarding bolt rounds are only 19mm at .45cal, most modern 25mm auto cannon rounds feature apfsds, which improve penetration greatly, bolt rounds do not, and yet space marines are regularly killed by bolt rounds even center mass (chest), so in my opinion astartes armor may not be as impenetrable as suggested.

      @averywhitaker3513 8 месяцев назад +6

      He assumes that the sm power armor is equivalent to about 5-15 inches of rhs (rolled homogeneous steel) at its thickest points. Also, it does usually take several bolts to take out a space marine. Specialty bolts were made during the horus heresy to counteract that.

      @@SeanCrosser well, yeah, but their explosive is tiny. You would be just as well comparing it to most small caliber incendiary rounds. Also have to mention just how ludicrous poorly designed the armor penetrating aspects of the bolt are. Hardened tip will shatter immediately on contact and reduce projectile energy, getting in the way of the penetrator. A penetrator whose shape is fairly wide, and not very long. The standard bolt is not far off from a boxing glove arrow when it comes to armor pen

      The so-called Fallout 4 power armor, which allows for easy swapping of arms and legs, is merely a product of Bethesda's push for their gear-driven entry system and laziness, directly applying the armor mechanism. They lack any actual, explainable settings, and some explanations on the wiki are also the result of the player community attempting to justify Bethesda's design choices.Or it's to comfort oneself that the settings one cares about are still recorded in Bethesda's non-existent design documents.

    Space Marines Average 7ft 6in tall in standard armor.
    The armor that increases their height is Tactical Dreadnought Armor aka Terminator armor. And this is an artifical increase in height via the armor’s design.
    So please stop propagating the myth of the 8 to 9ft tall Space Marine in standard patterns of armor.
    Also Primaris Space Marines are a different catagory of Space Marines. Are 8 to 9ft tall.
    Space Marines are about Jorge-052 size only 2 inches taller. There are also 7ft tall Space Marines. Captain Titus of the Ultramarines chapter is 7ft 2in tall.
    So can we stop trying to make Space Marines taller than the actually are ?
    As to the power armor Space Marines armor is better than Fallout power armor.
    But still let's stop boosting the height of your average Space Marine. They don't really need the boost in height.
    Oh and Space Marines armor gets pierced by Bolter rounds which are 19mm rocket propelled APHE rounds. So not quite a 25mm autocannon.

    here prove fallout T-45 power armor. is able to tank multiple nukes and multi EMP blasts with no damage.
    Personal log. United States Army Staff Sergeant Michael Daly. This past Saturday, October 23rd while en route to West Stockbridge, our veritbird crashed into the roof of this museum. The cause: EMP following nuclear detonation. Several, in fact. From the intel I've gathered, this was a global event. The co-pilot was killed on impact. The pilot died of his injuries a day later. Day after that, Flaherty and Kanawa were shot by some scared, desperate, survivors. Then Proznanski took off running. Haven't seen him since. Now it's my turn to go AWOL, if that concept even applies anymore. My armor's fusion core is burned out, so I guess my soldiering days are done. I'm heading to Boston, on foot, to see if my sister survived all this. She's got an apartment on Boylston Street. This is Mike Daly, signing out. Good luck. And God bless America. Or what's left of it.
    i think you downplayFalloutt big time
