VNT melting ? That's a new one. You haven't seen the way this car has been tuned so your in no position to comment. Duration isn't the only method of tuning to get this sort of power. It's just common amongst amateur mappers
Blimey if those BHP figures are correct that's one hell of an achievement with a mostly standard PD130 engine, are you sure there are no other modifications? upgraded turbo? cams? FMIC? I would imagine that kind of power from this engine would also require an upgraded clutch/flywheel as well?
GTB 2260vk with tubular manifold, 2.5 inch exhaust system and an aftermarket air filter. Running our custom code remap with launch control and popcorn limiter making 265bhp and 350 ft lb🙄
Maybe on your "optimistic" dyno. AVF engine has smaller injectors than ASZ/ARL, which can't push more than unsafe 240HP. What is the trap speed of this car at 1/4 mile ?
Black Jack just checked what you say and apparently avf has 520cc injectors unlike most pd130 pd150 are 550cc. didn't know about this so thanks for the update.
Yeah, right. AL injectors on ASZ are 550cc. With ridiculous durations, SOI (extremely unsafe) and 2.4-2.5 bar of boost on some engines can be pushed up to 240HP in some kind of peak, but different dyno software, different calculate power on flywheel. Max safe power for ASZ/ARL injectors is 220HP, AVF has about 5-7HP lower.
@@fedjadrndarski5606 you are wrong. I have achieved 230 hp with 2 bars boost, very little smoke after spool with 1756vk turbo on 1.9 tdi bxe and AL injectors, 49.000 km since this upgrade, no issues. There are professionals doing 250 on these injectors safe. Search Jose Zeze Realista from A.M. Motorsport, and TDI Performance from Romania. You ll be surprised.
+Lucian18905 There is no way for standard AVF injectors to push 265HP....at any duration, because there is no effect of prolonged duration on such small injectors. I highly doubt that this Audi has more than 200 WHP.

Anyway, obviously that car is "for show", not for speed and racing.. just look at those wheels :)).. also i bet it is fwd but not quattro...so, on the street, with fwd and that big weight in the back of driven wheels.. completely USELESS!:)))

Just because the engine itself hasn't been opened and upgraded, doesn't mean that everything else hasn't been upgraded, as in bolt on upgrades
