Hey Jason, loving your osmo reviews man, your the reason i bought one!! Im currently building my RUclips channel and audio is always something im looking to get better, ive got a rode video mic, but im looking for a good lad mic set up, i was going to get the new wireless rode GO but ive heard its inconsistent with connectivity. These look plug and play, with a great audio compared to the rode lav. One question tho, how would this work with instagram live? would i still hear audio if my mic is plugged in the jack? would the S6M be better to go for for the headphone input? Cheers loving your work!!
Hi Jason! I bought a USB-C / 3.5mm adapter for Osmo Pocket on Aliexpress. It's a replacement, but it only differs by the lack of a logo. It is also probably three times cheaper. It's a shame that the adapter doesn't work when a wifi module is connected. Take care, man!👊
@@JasonMorrisphotocinema If it worked through the wifi module, it would be great! You can see in my latest amateur movie how you can have fun thanks to this module. I know the movie is long. If you want, play 03:15
I don’t think this is a fair comparison since you actually added a layer of ‘filter’ on the rode by having the dead cat on. But the synco definitely sounds good. I also think the d1 is comparable to the senn mke600
I completely agree. I was only just comparing them in my scenario of my current set up. Mainly it's not about the comparison but more so to hear what the synco D1 sounds like when next to the most popular content creator microphone
When synco gives away there microphones to youtubers, they make sure that they are perfect. A normal customer buys one you may or may not get a good one.
Synco microphones sound good, but for some they're a little expensive. Have you thought about making a comparison between DJI Osmo Pocket and Fimi Palm?
Thank you for such a nice review, I would like to know whether this nic can be used as on camera mic for Solo Documentary Filmmaking ? As XLR >> TRS 3.5mm cable is not included in it as in Synco D1. Also could you please suggest an excellent Shotgun mic for Solo Documentary Filmmaking please.
The quality is not close my man. The D1 sounds tons better.
Awesome video, Jason.
Thank you! amazing product you have
I've never thought so much about sound before. Love it. 👊
Legend. Soon we will be making some masterpieces
Great Vid Jas, the Sinco sounds great, thanks for continuing to put out content at the moment man 👍
Thanks Ben. It's a grind but I make it happen haha appreciate it
Have you invested in the D2? Are you still using Synco D1? Awesome review!
❤️ love and your family from USA 🇺🇸
always appreciate you watching my video Stephy

Oh wow! I had no idea third party companies could make it work. Great to see them taking initiative to create

The comparison between the Osmo pocket and fimi palm is on its way. :)
I can't wait to see the video. I'm glad you're attentive and open to suggestions. I wish you and your beautiful family good health.

Hey jason bro just to let you know that i finally bought used osmo pocket for $220 in mint condition and i am very much satisfied.
Oh that's awesome!! Super glad you are satisfied. Great little camera for the size
I've never used a mic on my Osmo Pocket, but after watching this.... my choice would be SYNCO all the way.
The D1 is Crisper and Clearer.
definitively D1 e Rode smart Lav
Jason I already have the pocket adapter
So for a Lav mic I would only need the S6 correct? Or S6m for headphone capability
Hi, S6P is designed for OSMO Pocket, maybe you could give it a try. Here is the link: suo.im/5MDWCl.
yes the s6 would work perfect with the osmo pocket
D1 sounds better, I was a sound guy 30 years
S6p sweet
I was looking at Deity have to rethink this now, for the pocket
I was very surprised how good it is for the price on the osmo pocket
Synco D1seems better
