- Every time after I eat excess vegetarian food my craving for non-veg food doubles and sometime triples.
It was a little difficult to find non-veg food in Indore, but I found it. Not only that thanks to my friend Rahul I found a chicken that's a bit unusual and only found in this region.
And I visited Nafees Restaurant which is the most famous restaurant for non-veg food, and it did live up to its name.

Sir, Kadaknath is not Indore’s delicacy. It’s actually from a very small district Jhabua which is 150 kms away from Indore. I belong to Jhabua hence I wanted to highlight this.
Jhabua is a small place so not many people are aware of. But you will get actual taste in that small district only, their you will actually have real tribal flavour of the dish
Actually kadaknath is from Maharashtra. Kadak means hard. Kadaknath's meat take extra time to get tender.

Indore which is known for Vegetarian Food, but this man some how will find Non Vegetarian food to satisfy his belly. He is capable of finding Non Veg food in Mathura also.

Wohoo.. I would never imagine a Vlogger would find Kadaknaad in Indore, you are the first vlogger who has discovered it. It's kind of authentic and niche to Malwa and Nimaad and only a local who is living in Indore for generations could guide you about it. Even many Indoris who newly immigrated to Indore won't know it. Congrats to you on that. Sir, you did a great thing to ask a local and traditionally informed family to guide you about the non-Veg food in Indore, bcoz as you know a very small population in Indore consumes Non-Veg food. Slight correction here though, It's called "KadakNaad" and not KadakNath, it means the rooster that makes a distinctly Kadak naad ( नाद = sound), it's a rare rooster/chicken from mainly Nimaad and also Malwa region of MP famous for its taste and served as the dish of honor to really special guests. I would appreciate it if you can correct this in the title.
Also, the Malwi variant of Baati that is been boiled before baking, is called "Baflaa" and baati is also equally popular in Indore's food, You should definitely go to "Rajhans" to eat authentic Daal-Baflaa Malwi Thali.

For the first time I saw Kunal mix mutton with salad. Something rare to see. His way of eating healthy food.
As expected, non-veg was to follow and nice to see some good mutton at Nafees.
That that home made Kadaknath looks yummy. This breed is yummy and super nutritious but is not as popular.
Understand the hatchers faces a lot of turmoil during the bird flu of Jan 2021. Many including a celebrity had to suffer a loss due to this - I heard .

Kadaknath is not exactly indigenous to Indore but originates from Dhar and Jhabua districts which are about 65 kms and 150 kms respectively away from Indore city.

One of friend invited his bangali boss for dinner . He made dal bati him self for boss. After dinner boss was very much happy . Me nd my fnd went there to meet his boss nd what we saw ther's black⚫ bolls were floating in dal. Bati ko high flame pe completely rost kr k khila dia. 🤣nd damage cover krne k liye dal me duba dia. Boss was bangali so he had no idea about dal bati. And my fnd was from Telangana . Literally they both were very happy 🤣🤣 . Yesterday we took both to a dhaba near rajendra nagar. Hasi ruk nhi rhi thi. 😂😂

Very nice. Nafees has lovely food. Their haleem is awesome (Friday-Sunday it used to be available in Old Palasia branch). Kadaknath chicken is from Jhabua I think. Khandwa road has some dhabas which serve it too.

There are many restaurant in Chattisgarh too to serve kadaknath especially in korba, ambikapur, jabalpur(mp)

Kadaknath mostly breed in Jhabua district M. P. and Bastar, Dantewada in Chhattisgarh. In Bastar you will get more authentic and organically breeded Kadaknath chicken. Although Jhabua district got the GI tag for "kadaknath". Kadaknath chicken is highly protein rich.

Actually iam also a food lover like how you are,but I am not so fond of bakre ka mutton but the way mutton is served before you with different varieties and its tastes and the way you describe it and eat it makes me hungry and feel like eating mutton of different types like kheema oonde means kheema balls,biryani and the list continues.Issi liye har naye episode mein bhi dekhta hoo ki khaane mein kya hai.
