Her father was pressuring the company into paying Yookyung more money. You can't bargain with these companies. They booted Yookyung out of the group instead of trying to make a deal. And yes, these companies are very strict and vicious. Look at how SM booted Jessica out after all those years. It's as if the companies don't care if the public is unhappy with the moves....they don't care if they make less money....they don't care if the group loses a lot of fans. The only thing they care about is power. They will not under any circumstance be nice to their idols. They all have a policy of reminding the idols who the boss is. They work the girls very hard, they make them stay in dorms, they tell them what to do every single day. Then they don't pay the girls much money at all.
