A restaurant near where I used to work had this and I would get it almost every day they also did the same thing with Cantelope and it was just as amazing. It’s the perfect drink on a hot day.

Vietnamese make a drink pretty much the same but they have a little claw thing with cups on the end and it just shreds strips of Cantelope out so when you get it it’s kind of like a drink and a dessert together. I love it in the summer especially when it’s hot because I like to stay away from heavy and greasy food when I’m out working in the heat. I’ve never tried it but I’m guessing honeydew melon might also be good and even mixing different melons and pineapple.
I found your channel last night, today I used your carne asada recipe and broke in my new brick BBQ along with the roasted salsa from your Adovado video. I give you credit for the best asada I ever made! Can you show us how you make Steak Picado please?
If I may? If you make a simple syrup for equal parts by volume of sugar and water, bring to a simmer and dissolve the sugar and chill, you can use that to sweeten the Agua Fresca without having worry about the sugar not dissolving. Simple Syrup is used in bars to sweeten cocktails. My $0.02
In this video I wanted to show how Agua fresca was made growing up in Mexico. We did make all these amazing waters with granulated sugar. Having said that, simple syrup is a great option. ☺️
