Have ordered a few of the VB sticks. Haven't tried Sisley but I love LM & the CT colour chameleon pencils as eye liner. CT doesn't budge once applied. Another great review Lexi!

Great comparison video thanks Lexi - I have a handful of BB/Guerlain/Lancome sticks, and they all perform well. But I've ordered 3 of the VB eyewear now to try. I was super impressed with VB eye liners... they are my favourites as they are so creamy and easy to apply. I love the look of the Sisley too though - such a great colour range as well - so thanks for comparing those too. I might try a tester next time I'm in Selfridges, and see. Many thanks. That pink and yellow look awesome together :)

Congratulations on getting PR from VB! I’ve just recently got back to using shadow sticks and was so interested in the VB sticks. However, after the comparisons, I realised that I would probably prefer the Bobbi Brown sticks since the colours are right up my alley. I like the idea of the pink and the yellow sticks but I know that in reality I would hardly ever use them.

Imo, between the ingredients, quality & the fact that Victoria puts HER name on everything she puts out, I believe she puts a lot of thought, time & effort into all of her products. I think she is so incredibly talented! I love the fact that VBB is a clean beauty brand & ophthalmologist tested. I wish I could buy every single color she puts out. VBB is my holy grail. What a thoroughly enjoyable video! I am becoming more interested in cream shadow sticks now my eyes are more crinkly as I find they can give my eye lids an illusion of moisture! The VB yellow and candy pink shades looked really fun on you and were an unexpected hit! And congrats on getting the shadows from VB in PR - totally deserved! I hadn't heard such good things about the By Terry so have never used but I do love my Sisley Phyto Twist shadows for quality and ease of use. Topaz is fabulous and also the Rose Bronze and Pearl shades too. Your comparisons were great - I like the HG olive shade but agree it was too sheer in the first place - much better to have more pigmentation that you can sheer out. Thanks so much for the effort you put in doing this video and wear test - you always go the extra mile 😊

Thanks for your review Lexi. I’m passing on the sticks. I just don’t use the ones I have and just decluttered a ton of them. I don’t use many cream eyeshadows, so the ones I have are more than enough for me. I prefer the pots (Tom Ford, Charlotte Tilburty, Auric . . . ). And even the ones with wants like Lisa Eldridge, Hindash Boy Tears, and the Armani. I’m trying to not to buy things I know I don’t like. The colors, especially of the Hourglass ones you got, are GORGEOUS; but I know I won’t use them! At least I can save some money!
@@rabbiroz3806 I think they would both work as eyeliners technically but I think the pigmentation level of the VB will be more pronounced like an eyeliner. I really like using them that way personally.

You were one of the first I've seen review the line and I was always hoping to see you receive pr from them one day bc of all of your reviews and support you've given the brand from inception. Absolutely agree with your assessment of them as I was going to say the same things lol. The longevity factor is a wow...14.5 hours...you really put things to THE test!! The colours are also more impactful vs Hourglass so the VBB and BB are going to be reached for more. No, it is actually easier than removing it from my arm for some reason. I use the Tatcha cleansing oil to remove my eye makeup ( I use a less expensive oil for swatches so maybe that is why).
I don't have the Burberry sticks but I used to have the LM sticks. I found the LM sticks were a little drier in general than the Bobbi Brown and the staying power with the Bobbi Brown is slightly better on me. In comparison with the HG and VBB, I would say the LM texture is in between the two of these brands but LM has a ton of shades and finishes so you have more options but in general the HG are still going to be softer in pigmentation levels and the VBB will be more equivalent. For me, I have slightly better wear with these newer sticks over the LM but it is still pretty close.
Great review. I was thinking of getting these but stopped because I use the Westman Atelier Super Loaded Highlighters as cream blush/shadow combos, and the color stays on my lid very well. I could change my mind if VB makes colors I can't resist. I'd grab a metallic plum like a shot. Thanks for the video!💚
@@LexiJong They work as a touch of shimmer in the middle of your lower lip too. One of my favorite quick low effort makeup looks is to use the Chantecaille Rose Tint all over for blurring, a little Sisley concealer as needed, the Superloaded Highlighters as blush or blush toppers and eyes, mascara, and some Dior Lip Glow. Then out the door.

Could you mix the 2 different sticks? I like the VB trench shade but prefer the hourglass bronze and olive shades. I think they could look beautiful together

I especially want to get the matte shades, I do feel though that in some images Macaron looked even a bit purple/lavender, not as pink, but it’s still a lovely color and I love using pink eyeshadows, plus the look you created with it and Sunflower looked super pretty and perfect for spring. I know the formulas are very different but I was wondering if you think Trench is similar to V_FR’s Petite Culotte in terms of color, because I love Trench but if it’s similar to Violette’s I’m not sure if I’ll get it now since I’m nowhere near finishing that Yeux Paint. I was going to get the Hourglass shade in Galaxy but they look like they are not as impactful as say the KVD Dazzle sticks...I love those!! And I wonder how the VBB in Macaron would pair with the new CT Pop Shot in Ultra Violet...which comes to me tomorrow!! Like a topper shade 🥰
Thanks, Lexi! I have a question about how well the VB sticks dry down. My BB and LM shadow sticks remain just tacky enough that my lid and hood stick together and that makes my nuts. How did VB do in that department? I ordered the bottle green from her, but have not received it yet.
They feel fairly dry afterwards. There is no real tackiness remaining that I can tell. Check out the smudge test portion of the video and you can get an idea of the texture. It isn't powder smooth but there isn't any moisture remaining either.
Hi, thank you for your review, i have the pecan and i find this shade a little bit dificult to blend out. I have seen reviewers say they don’t have a problem with it and other also, mine is a little bit dryer in comparison with example oyster, what are your thoughts about that color (pecan) the formula? Because i do like the color a lot, but its patchy when i applied it and not so smooth as the others
Someone else mentioned to me they had trouble with one of the shades too. I bet there are some inconsistencies in the batches. I don't have trouble with Pecan but my trench shade is slightly drier. None of mine have become patchy yet but I typically use the Viseart eye primer underneath which is a silicone base so it helps a bit with the glide. You may want to try a Bobbi Brown stick as those can be a little creamier and they have a huge range of colors so there is bound to be one similar to Pecan.

O.k., I ordered three. I wonder what I am doing sometimes. I like matte,so not that many options. I ordered macaron, sunflower and trench. I guess I will use as base?
So far I dislike these. They are too dry and don’t smooth out even with a brush; looks dry and emphasizes 😮my wrinkles. I am surprised and want to return these.

The creamiest ones are still going to be Sisley and By Terry imo so they will give you the most time to blend. I think that is a good decision.

Could you mix the 2 different sticks? I like the VB trench shade but prefer the hourglass bronze and olive shades. I think they could look beautiful together
Yes you can definitely mix them and they do well together.
Hi Lexi, thank you for this video! Your reviews are always so thorough and helpful. I love the color range of the new VBB eyeshadows, they all look so beautiful. I especially want to get the matte shades, I do feel though that in some images Macaron looked even a bit purple/lavender, not as pink, but it’s still a lovely color and I love using pink eyeshadows, plus the look you created with it and Sunflower looked super pretty and perfect for spring.
I know the formulas are very different but I was wondering if you think Trench is similar to V_FR’s Petite Culotte in terms of color, because I love Trench but if it’s similar to Violette’s I’m not sure if I’ll get it now since I’m nowhere near finishing that Yeux Paint. I was going to get the Hourglass shade in Galaxy but they look like they are not as impactful as say the KVD Dazzle sticks...I love those!! And I wonder how the VBB in Macaron would pair with the new CT Pop Shot in Ultra Violet...which comes to me tomorrow!! Like a topper shade 🥰

Thanks, Lexi! I have a question about how well the VB sticks dry down. My BB and LM shadow sticks remain just tacky enough that my lid and hood stick together and that makes my nuts. How did VB do in that department? I ordered the bottle green from her, but have not received it yet.
They feel fairly dry afterwards. There is no real tackiness remaining that I can tell. Check out the smudge test portion of the video and you can get an idea of the texture. It isn't powder smooth but there isn't any moisture remaining either.
Hi, thank you for your review, i have the pecan and i find this shade a little bit dificult to blend out. I have seen reviewers say they don’t have a problem with it and other also, mine is a little bit dryer in comparison with example oyster, what are your thoughts about that color (pecan) the formula? Because i do like the color a lot, but its patchy when i applied it and not so smooth as the others
Someone else mentioned to me they had trouble with one of the shades too. I bet there are some inconsistencies in the batches. I don't have trouble with Pecan but my trench shade is slightly drier. None of mine have become patchy yet but I typically use the Viseart eye primer underneath which is a silicone base so it helps a bit with the glide. You may want to try a Bobbi Brown stick as those can be a little creamier and they have a huge range of colors so there is bound to be one similar to Pecan.

Yes it becomes risky. Maybe check something out at one of their retailers when they are available. Bergdorfs will probably carry them in the future.

By Terry had a good shade range previously. I still have midnight brown- gorgeous. I need to try VB shadow sticks . Her eyeliners are my favorite. Congratulations for the VB support.

O.k., I ordered three. I wonder what I am doing sometimes. I like matte,so not that many options. I ordered macaron, sunflower and trench. I guess I will use as base?

So far I dislike these. They are too dry and don’t smooth out even with a brush; looks dry and emphasizes 😮my wrinkles. I am surprised and want to return these.
