  • A digital economy is powered by the Internet and digital technologies and allows anyone to participate from anywhere. It refers to the devices most of us use each day such as computers, tablets and smart phones. It includes the online maps we consult, goods we purchase, the web searches that we do to find information and our electronic banking. In a Digital Economy, businesses and individuals are creating innovating and growing new business opportunities faster than ever before.

Its a system where govt can have totalitarian control over every single aspect of your life in complete secrecy and unaccountability.

      Exactly.
Many on Twitter (X) are in a sense a slave to their digital master, not even allowed to ‘call people’ unless their Corporation Manager allows it. George Lucas was right when he spoke honestly about the New Star Wars Movie saying he sold Star Wars to White Slavers! I thought to myself, “When will people see that technology dehumanizes?”

It is interesting that a 2003 movie called The Corporation, directed by Mark Achbar and Jennifer Abbott, had actually discussed ideas like this. This documentary begins with an unusual detail that came from the 14th Amendment: Under constitutional law, corporations are seen as individuals. The 14th Amendment addresses many aspects of citizenship and the rights of citizens -- prohibiting the states from depriving “any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.” When it was adopted, the Clause was understood to mean that the government could deprive a person of rights only according to law applied by a court.
Yet filmmaker Mark Achbar asked, “What type of person would a corporation be?” It seemed to me that this actually spoke very much of the False Prophet. But I could be wrong. Since I am not able to speak with any authority on this matter, I will simply allow the Scriptures to speak for themselves.

“Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the rebellion occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.” -- 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
