Hi Andrea, I spray WD40 on the sticky adhesive residue and it will easily wipe off. Works better than alcohol or acetone. I too hate all those stickers on drugstore makeup packaging.

@@LovetoLearn16 never tried that brand before, doesn’t hurt to try. Funny side note….I also use WD40 to kill crickets hiding in tight places, the straw attachment is great to hit the bugs in small cracks. Killed 3 crickets inside my home that kept me up all night!

As someone with dry skin & dermatitis, I try to be more cognizant of ingredients in face makeup & read reviews prior to buying. I tried the Elf Power Grip Primer and I hated it. Unfortunately, it did not hydrate and heavily emphasized dry patches/bumpy skin. Therefore, I recommend non-sticky primers for those with dry skin/acne/bumps, etc. Also, make sure that alcohol content isn't one of the first few ingredients listed, otherwise that will dry your skin as well (even if a product advertises as hydrating/dewy).

I have this elf eye primer and I have oily eyelids this def extends and brightens my eyeshadow but surprisingly have to be careful not to use too much or it makes my eyelids stick together and the shadows skip but it's fine as long as I'm mindful❤😊

I purchased the Jelly Pop primer.... now I definitely want to use it! I have combo to oily skin and was hesitant to it. It's nice to know that it should work for my oily skin.
Honestly, I am almost shocked every single time I use it because it leaves your skin looking so glow and hydrated so in your mind you’re like this shouldn’t work for my combo/oily skin? But by the end of the day my make up always looks so good. I hope you love it!

I just got the elf Jelly Pop primer. It's great! Much easier and less tacky than the Powergrip. I can't smell the watermelon, though.

I actually like the Elf watermelon lip oil and I’m usually sensitive to scents. I bought a backup - which I think is a reason people over-purchase makeup that you missed. Companies do so many limited edition products, or keep discontinuing products to come out with something new, that you feel like you have to buy backups of your favorites because they’re gonna go away or you think they are !!
Very true! It’s frustrating when you find a favor only for it to be discontinued. 😭 I think I might buy a back up of the jelly pop primer because who knows if they are going to keep bringing it back every summer!
I have to try that elf jelly pop again I remember when it first came out and liking it also the elf jelly pop highlighter looks like a dupe for the Chanel or even LYS cream highlighters

Please I am begging you to try the lime green tube called define A lash by Maybelline. It is the most incredible mascara I have ever used! Nobody has ever talked about it except for one girl who ended up finding it and she was even like this is her top mascara! If you like length and fullness without clumping you will love that mascara! I have been using it since the late 80s early 90s and I have never found anything better to this day and I have tried everything.
Ahhh I really miss Maybelline mascaras because they really used to be my favorite! They aren’t currently cruelty free but if they do go cruelty free, I will definitely try that one! 🥰
My skin is more oily in the summer too and I can’t touch the elf setting spray right now
Omg The Jelly Pop primer I just bought over the weekend and I only use the ELF grip primer BUT this is even better!!! Now I need to buy backups because I don’t want to be without it, if it 😢 is limited edition.

what are your fav full coverage matte or satin finish foundations that have a good shade range for pink undertones? my fav foundation is estee lauder double wear so i love that long wear. i usually just get high end cuz most drugstore stuff runs yellow and i kniw the new urban decay face bond runs yellow so unfortunatey probably need to skip that one. i adore fenty lumionous one in shade 110 for winter but i do prefer matte or satin usually. heard very mixed things about the fenty matte one (so im nervous about that one lol)
I do feel like so many foundations run yellow! Have you tried the Catrice True Skin Hydrating Foundation? I’ve tried multiple shades and I do feel like tends to run a little bit more pink or cool toned. It’s a good medium to full coverage foundation that can be worn matte or satin depending on the primer! That’s the reason I love it because it really is a customizable formula and it’s like $10 on Amazon!
I am obsessed with the ELF watermelon lip oil but to be fair I haven’t tried the normal ones!
It’s definitely a different formula, but I could see why people would enjoy it! 🥰
I have the elf mintmelt primer it's in a tube just like that one but green i forget when it came out but people use to always say the mint one was the same as the jelly one.
Oh yes! I remember that one! I completely forgot about that collection, but that primer was great and I loved the glosses.

21:36 I Think the reason the lip oil has a different formula is because it is a different formula. I don’t know if it makes sense but since the lip oil has a different scent and it has glitter/shimmer in it, it alters the formula/consistency.

Just curious if youve tried Essence’s jelly grip hydrating primer?? Super curious how it compares to elf and the new covergirl one
I have tried that one and I really liked it! I would say it’s a little bit stickier than the Covergirl primer but not as sticky as elf! The only problem I had is that it broke me out. 😭
At this point the jelly pop primer has been on the elf website for over 2 months continuously. Hopefully they have listened and made it a permanent part of their offerings. It is my favorite gripping primer of all time.
Yes! If it is such a popular product for them, I feel like it would make sense to make it permanent. I hope it sticks around! 🙌
I’m such a huge apricot fan. Wish more companies would do apricot and not always peach. I found this huge Philosophy apricots and dream shower wash at Marshall’s few weeks ago. Ugh, it smells amazing!!!! Love it!!! Nobody does apricot scented products. 😢

It’s actually the It Brushes for Ulta #133! I got it in a limited edition holiday set but they have it as part of their permanent line too. It really is such a good brush!

I'm bummed that elf Dewey spray was nice the first 2 days I used it then on day 3 it smelled like it turned bad, like old makeup smell. I threw it out. 😢
That is so frustrating! I haven’t noticed a strange scent with mine yet, but somebody else just commented they returned it because of the scent too!
