I have Hybrid Cadillac escalade. One day it was fine, after I changed coils, I disconnected 12v battery while I was doing that. Car refused to start next day. I had to use jumper. Right after use jumper it is ok. And during same day it starts fine. Got new duralast battery installed 3 month ago.
yah I' m trying to build a customer base right now. Don't really like to do the big jobs anymore lol.. if i can get more diag and programming on the go it would be great
@@JLsAutoSolution that is where I'm heading two bud in the middle of a Mobile diagnostic business setup and doing a business plan as we speak. I am getting to old for gearbox removals and all the heavy stuff.
@@iankelly2110 Completely understand. The thing about a business plan where i live. If its for a garage/ mobile Diagnostic business, the banks will not lend anything. So it really is a do it your self or take out a 75000$ personal loan for vehicle/ equipment / start up cost. That's why Im still working 40 hrs a week and trying to build a client base. Here we are paid hourly as techs and all the shops are run as if we a flat rate. Most have crap pay and do not have bonus system, but still want us to pull 60+ hours of work. That is why this field is failing.. Sorry for the rant
@@JLsAutoSolution that's crazy No incentive to help you start up your own business it's all gone to commercial they don't want independent sole traders in business any more.
I have a 2009 Chevy Silverado dual mode hybrid, died on a red light, the battery voltage is 8 volts, replaced the battery, boosted no crank, no movement ... fuse box looks good any thoughts?
These vehicles have a huge Fuse box(under hood) failure rate. That would be the fist area I would check. Just make sure there is no corrosion on the surface(its a quick check) if there is any amount of corrosion you can suspect a faulty fuse block. Always have a vehicle inspection done with a vehicle health report(done with a scanner). Every module should be scanned. there could be unknown issues on the vehicle.
