Hi! Yes I do. It's quite low maintenance, I just trim the ends every couple months. After a shower, when my hair is still damp I part it down the middle, from the front all the way down the back to my neck. I comb it out, pull both sides together in the front of me and trim ends. For my bangs/fringe, I comb to the front down over my eyes and trim ends. I have a few long layers that I only trim maybe twice a year when they need. :)
Thank you so much for doing this video Christine. I loved hearing your favorites. I rarely purchase high end makeup products any more after I found that they are all made by the same companies and factories that make drug store brands. Seems like I can almost always find a dupe in color and quality for any high end brand in a drug store anymore. Drugstore brands have really stepped up their game. Use to the products could not compare, but now that is just not the case. Keep up the great v
I haven't tried Sigma but I hear they're making some great brushes, I may try them one day. Also, I know it may sound ridiculous but I love my ELF $1 Eye Brushes (the eyeshadow, defining eye, and blending eye brushes). Essence Of Beauty brushes are another top favorite, love their face brushes and crease brushes. I think there are so many other options these days, I wouldn't bother with MAC brushes.
I like your message at the beginning. I'm 21 (nearly 22) and I felt like I should shop high end when I first started watching RUclips. But you're right. There's excellent products at the drugstore. I only have a few high end products (maybe 7 total) and the rest is drugstore (I can't even begin to count lol). High end is great, of course, but you can find the same things at the drugstore!
I love watching your videos I learn so much. It's nice seeing what other blonds use . Keep up the good work .You do an amazing job.. Love from Dublin..
Since you're more of a NYX girl, their HD concealer is amazing! its kind of like a cream concealer but melted. It totally lasts long too. I seriously love it :)
Hi Christine!..I have a lot of the same favs u do..but for drugstore eyeliner, I love Milani liquefye in black for my tightline & waterline when I wear it there & I like Physicians Formula gel liners, when I want to smoke it out..they're great..For concealers..I can't quit using the Garnier tinted rollerball..It gives me just enough coverage & really brightens under my eyes..I also use it down the bridge of my nose & it feels so good, very cooling & nice!..
Axellemagnifique is correct. I don't hit pan on blush or eyeshadow very often. I switch around between high end and drugstore products. I change up my makeup and products almost everyday so everything gets used and cycled but stays in good condition. I try to keep my products looking nice and clean. If your comment was meant to be rude, I do not tolerate trolls or rudeness on my channel, period. In Hawaii we have a saying "Pono" means do what is right, treat others right.
nyx is definitely drugstore. Thanks so much for this video! I always go for wet n wild because everyone raves about them, but to be honest, the colors are a big too vibrant for me! I love the earthy and natural shades you showed us!!
So happy to hear someone giving "Verve" some love!! Its one of my favorites to wear with a slightly darker pink liner and a light pink gloss. But it seems to be one of those colors that is so "misunderstood"! lol
Maybelline has some great concealers. I like the instant age rewind eraser for under the eyes and i like their mineral power and their super stay concealers for spots or blemishes! great video! we have such similar tastes in makeup, so i always love seeing your faves!
I love Covergirl's new 3 in 1 foundation, primer, and concealer. I still need a little extra concealer after using it, but it feels so light, doesn't make me break out, and has spf 30. One of my favorite concealers of all time is Hard Candy's Glamoflauge, but note it is VERY thick, but it gives the fullest coverage possible!
My current drugstore favourites are Revlon PhotoReady Concealer, Revlon Grow Luscious mascara, Revlon ColorStay liquid foundation, NYC Smooth Skin Bronzing Face Powder, Ardell Brow Sculpting Gel, Maybelline Warm Me Up Colorsensational lipstick and Bourjois Healthy Mix Correcting Concealer. These are all staples in my collection. I love Nyx eyeshadows and actually Nyx Dolleye Volume mascara is worth a mention too! xo
wow, I never tried covergirl, because of your review I got some and I love them!!!! Thanks so much and they are so affordable too which means them such a steal!
Thanks you so much! Great video. Per your advice I just bought the Revlon Gentleman Prefer Pink. Love it. I've bought really expensive lip products and even still they are not always great. What a great find. Thanks again. I would love to hear back from you!
loved all of your favorites! laughed when you said "if there's one product i'm emotionally attached to..... it's bronzer" loved the huge variety you showed as well! great video :)
This was great, it's so hard to decide which products to try... even though they are drugstore it can add up very quickly and become expensive if the things you try don't work for you. I really appreciated you opening up some of the lip butters and the highlighter swatches! As for concealer... I'm loving the L'Oreal true match crayon for my blemishes... I don't use undereye concealer.
Just went to WalMart & bought Physician's Formula Happy Booster Blush in Rose, thanks to you! I love the way you describe each color; I was able to make a better choice that way & the color is perfect!!
I'm a new subscriber. I think you should know you are officially my FAVORITE youtube guru. I love Tanya from Pixiwoo channel, because she does amazing makeup tutorials, but yours are my absolute favorite because of the way you present and explain the use of products you buy. I like that you don't ramble, and that you get to the point of your videos quickly. I don't have a lot of time, so that to me is important. Thank you for sharing snippets of life in Hawaii.
Revlon Colorstay Eyeliner is my favorite eyeliner. I use the blackest black and I swear it does not move. I dont even invest in any other black eyeliners (drugstore or high end) because this one has won me over. It stays put! I have really watery eyes and I have never found an eyeliner that would stay in my water line other than this one. Worth checking it out! xoxo
I have found NYX in Walmart, ULTA and a few other drugstores in my area. I've also used "Sally Girl" from Sally's Beauty Supply store. They have various shadows, that are small and clip together if you want to build a palette, they are nicely pigmented and wear well and their only .99¢ ea.. I use lip liner in a shade that is similar to "Stone" by MAC, called "Natural", by Beautique also found in Sally's. I really enjoy a good find and finding cheaper dupe's makes me very happy.
I have a list started with NYX shadows you had mentioned in an older video!! This video makes me want to start purchasing!! Love your videos Christine;)
For eyeliner, I have been using Almay liquid eyeliner and also ELF's liquid and gel eyeliners. I love both, but the brushes are different. Almay's brushes allow for thicker lines but the brush tip wears out pretty quickly. If you want thinner lines, the ELF eyeliners are great.
my favorite drug store concealer is the maybelline instant age rewind treatment concealer and the nyx full coverage concealer/corrector in a jar. i'm so glad i'm not the only one who owns like 12 bronzers, although i still get made fun of because i'm already tan. :) love hearing your favorite drugstore products, always nice that there's a mix and match between high end and drugstores.
Great favourites Christine...you always put so much effort into your videos...they are so enjoyable. Also I love your calm manner...it is so soothing :-)
I love watching you because you are so passionate about everything you mention and you give such amazing detail! I am anxious to go out and buy the Sonia kashuk blush
Thanks Pinksofoxy. I've just about made it through every one of your videos. I think you're awesome. You've certainly helped provide me with so many valuable tips! Great job and keep the videos coming!!
I really enjoyed this video Christine, you gave me some great ideas of products I want to try, especially some of those NYX eyeshadows you showed. I hope you will do a video of your favorite drugstore nail polishes too. Thanks! Your room, with the pretty pillows on your bed and your icicle headboard, make such a pretty background btw. :)
Hey I'm from Hawaii too! I was getting confused with all these NYX comments since I buy them at drugstores all the time. I still haven't gotten in to any high end products yet, so for now I stick to my drugstore stuff! Thanks for the video!
Love this! You should try the NYX Slide On eye pencils! They are seriously my favorite eyeliners! & their color selection is amazing. Very comparable (some are even better!) to the UD 24/7 pencils, in my opinion!
I really appreciate this video! I don't buy high end cosmetics and I have been wearing makeup for many many years lol. You should DEFINATELY try the wet and wild palettes. They are so pigmented and inexpensive. In fact all wet and wild is 40% off at Rite Aid right now, making the palettes 3 bucks each!
Great video--thanks for the ideas! Some of my drugstore favs... Foundation: Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse, Physician's Formula MineralWear. Concealer: Garnier Skin Renew Roller. Blush: Loreal True Match in Innocent Flush or Tender Rose. Eyeliner: Physician's Formula Gel liner trio. Lipliner: Jordana in Rock n Rose or Tawny, Loreal Colour Rich in All About Pink. Lips: Maybelline Baby Lips, Revlon Super Lustrous in Iced Amethyst, Loreal Infallible in Blushing Rose or Beyond Blushing.
I believe NYX changed the name to Champagne & Bubbles now. I purchased mine at Longs/CVS, Walgreens carries them as well. Those are the only 2 drugstores we have in my area. I would check with all your local drugstores.
I so love finding makeup guru's that are my age. :) Sometimes I worry about trying things because of my age.. I don't want to look like I am trying to look like a teen. But seeing it done right on ladies like you shows how to do it. early 30's is sooo not old anyway. ;)
I've always used higher-end drugstore brands; like neutrogena, and sonia kashuk, and physicians formula just because I have sensitive skin. I just now started to buy higher end at 22. I've only used too faced, tarte, and stila so far.
great video....i like sonia kashuk products, they are very high quality and No.7 makes amazing compact powders and blushes. Rimmel lipliners are some of the best out there, been using them for years....
My favorite drugstore foundation right now is the Maybelline Fit Me foundation. It's light and breathable, it blends very easily and it gives lovely coverage without washing my face out and making it look like I'm wearing a lot of product. :)
Love these kinds of videos, thanks for sharing. Am definitely going to check out that Sonia Kashuk blush! The Sonia Kashuk matte lip pencils and lipsticks are really amazing. Prestige (total intensity and waterproof non-automatic) and l'oreal (lineur intense, extra-intense and hip chrome liners) both make really great eyeliners. Maybelline superstay concealer is fab, so is Revlon Age Defying.
wonderful video. I use mostly drugstore products except for my tarte foundation. NYX new HD shadow eye primer is great. I just got into hard candy thanks to my little sister and have been looking for a great highlight off to walmart to look for that. i love all wet and wild eye shadow's and products. Loving Simple skin a new line of skin care that came out popular in the UK so far loving it.
Loreal True match liquid works for me, and I'm pale so it's hard to find matching foundations. Rimmel and Almay have good liquid liners. Palladio has good pencil eyeliner. Concealer.... I've been trying to find the best drugstore concealer ever since I started wearing makeup! I'm always on the search for the perfect under eye concealer for pale skin, something light weight but still gives good coverage for dark circles . Currently I use the Nyx hd but that is a bit heavy.
I have the champagne and cavier pallet and i love love love it! For some reason the trios suck at least the two I own. But that one I was really happy with.
Physicians formula has nice eyeliners (shimmer strips, they do both automatic and gel liners). Maybelline has quite a few nice liners as well. I know milani does a good black automatic liner too!
I love your videos & am amazed at your very vast makeup collection & your knowledge of products & all the names. I don't know how you remember all those names of colors!!! I wonder if you would know of a dupe for the MAC eyeshadow copperplate? I use it on my eyebrows instead of pencil. Thank you & keep making the great videos!!!
loved your video; it totally sux to buy something, get it home and discover it is anything but what you wanted. I will tell youI bought the new gel mascara by Maybeline yesterday, the new gel. I use the waterproof formulation (always). The brush is really shitty, big and fat with really wide bristles. Applied light coat and combed through with a metal-tooth lash comb. Applied 2nd coat and combed through. Loved it; stayed put, no crumbling or smudging. Got lots of compliments at the club.
great video !!!! when i first started using make up it was CHANEL. i was told its the best! I still do use it. but i discovered drugstore make up not to long ago and i love a lot of things!!! ))) i also love those w&w single eye shadows, and the new bronzer (i got cause i saw u said that its great, and it is) oh i really like nyx blushes (mauve, but it looks more like a peach to me), and my actualy favorite blush is revlon in blushing berry.
I love my Sigma brushes- I bought MAC brushes for awhile, until I started watching RUclips and heard about Sigma. I ordered from them and have, honestly, never looked back (plus you can always get discount codes and sometimes a gift w/ purchase!). Sephora makes some awesome brushes too:)
nyx is sold at local beauty supply stores as well. i have seen it in multiple stores in New York. Some even have more stock than Ulta and / or carry the whole line.
I LOVE max factors liquid effect eyeliner pencil.it's super soft smudge-able (comes with a smudged) and is super black too! Fir 8£it is kind of on the expensive side fir drugstore but defo worth it!
also the maybelline instant age rewind concealer is great doesnt crease and lasts all day! i use the brightener one though it is a little light for me.
My fav concealers are Maybelline.... erasers (neutralizer, brightener, and fair), and I just picked up the dream lumi. Foundations are Rimmel 25 hr and clean finish, Revlon new complexion compact foundation. Powders are Nyc loose and compact, Rimmel stay matte and Maybelline dream matte. Eyeliners are Rimmel kajal kohl (WL/TL- I can't wear waterproof but these stay on me), PF shimmer pencils (esp the nudes) and gels, Milani eyetech pens, Maybelline gel. Primers are Black Radiance and Rimmel pro.
Their website at the very bottom has a store locator, you can type in your zip and find it that way. If there are really none near by you can sign up and wait till they have deals off shipping or wait till you have enough to spend over $25 to get it for free. Other than foundation and concealer for a matching shade, there isn't much of a risk considering so many of their products are so good. Good luck :)
thats great, the hardy candy liquid highlight reminds me of benefit high beam. I'm a high end girl but I love maybelline line stiletto and loreal linear intense liquid liner (coming from someone who loves gels lol). AND the maybelline color tats are pretty good .. I have bad to the bronze, tough as taupe and audacious asphalt. I did think of picking up the orange for summer but I like that nyx e/s you showed that is peachy
NYX Slide on Glide on eyeliner in Jet Black is an extreme black. As black as UD perversion and also as smooth as that one. Physicians Formula has great cream eyeliners (shimmer strips) you should definitely check them out! You won't be disappointed!! They stay on my eyes all day long! You will enjoy them a lot and they are half the price of BlackTrack by MAC. I quit buying MAC after I discovered these beauties...
great video! For drugstore eyeliner, I love NYC liquid liner, jordana fabuliner, & the physican's formula shimmer strip gel liner : ) They're all great! Especially the NYC liner, it's $1.72!!!
Really helpful and well done video. I'm so glad I subscribed to your channel. You get right to it, but give all the pertinent information necessary to help decide what to buy. Thanks so much.
I love nyx as well, and I have just about all you have got of your singal shadows and palette.. I also love nyx's blushes and thire new wet eye shadows's :')
Try the Maybelline Master Drama eye liner in Midnight Master. That eye liner, is the greatest. NO running or smudging and it lasts ALL DAY in the water line. It is an intense black. about $6 at Wal Mart
milani liquifeye eyeliner. incredible color pay off creamy and east to apply. 8$usd at CVS. if you have those in hawaii. if you have sensitive eyes caution. some people say it makes their eyes watery and puffy (i have semi sensitive eyes) and i dont get any irritation
Hi! :)
The Nyx trios are just as good with payoff and blendability. I love them.
Thank you so much for doing this video Christine. I loved hearing your favorites. Your makeup always looks so gorgeous! You really know what tones suit you and you always look so stunning!

Really enjoyed the recommendations; especially the eye shadows!
nyx is definitely drugstore. Thanks so much for this video! I always go for wet n wild because everyone raves about them, but to be honest, the colors are a big too vibrant for me! I love the earthy and natural shades you showed us!!

wow, I never tried covergirl, because of your review I got some and I love them!!!! Thanks so much and they are so affordable too which means them such a steal!
I love that you talk about products people usually dont talk about. Love Nyx too :)

Wet and wild black and white pencil eyeliner are so pigmented and so pretty and they are easy to work with

I like the NYX slide-on pencil eye-liners and Milani Liquid Eye pencil eyeliners. Also really like the Maybelline Age Rewind Eraser concealers.
I have a list started with NYX shadows you had mentioned in an older video!! This video makes me want to start purchasing!! Love your videos Christine;)
I love the name of one of the bronzers ''Ticket to Brazil'' and love the color too.

I love watching you because you are so passionate about everything you mention and you give such amazing detail! I am anxious to go out and buy the Sonia kashuk blush
Both palettes from nyx are so good from what I've seen especially the smokey eye one
when you're swatching the blushes, the sound makes me CRUNGE... 😖 I love your videos!!

Jordana pressed powder is soo good,
Wet and Wild Coverall Cream foundation works really good. As well as their Mascara.
NYC Liquid Eyeliner.
Love this! You should try the NYX Slide On eye pencils! They are seriously my favorite eyeliners! & their color selection is amazing. Very comparable (some are even better!) to the UD 24/7 pencils, in my opinion!
Your makeup looks really nice here. (Not that it doesn't usually.) You're glowing!
I really appreciate this video! I don't buy high end cosmetics and I have been wearing makeup for many many years lol. You should DEFINATELY try the wet and wild palettes. I believe NYX changed the name to Champagne & Bubbles now. I purchased mine at Longs/CVS, Walgreens carries them as well. Those are the only 2 drugstores we have in my area. I would check with all your local drugstores.
Thank you! This is our own design, we make jewelry for a living. I have an Etsy store as well, the link is on my channel homepage.
I so love finding makeup guru's that are my age. :) Sometimes I worry about trying things because of my age.. I don't want to look like I am trying to look like a teen. But seeing it done right on ladies like you shows how to do it. early 30's is sooo not old anyway. ;)

Aww, Thank you! I will try to do more tutorials. :)
Oh and if you have a Target in your area, Sonia Kashuk has some awesome brushes!
My favorite drugstore foundation right now is the Maybelline Fit Me foundation. It's light and breathable, it blends very easily and it gives lovely coverage without washing my face out and making it look like I'm wearing a lot of product. :)
I really like that you reference what they dupe on the high end. Thanks for sharing :D
Just used Nyx liquid eyeliner last night. Really tiny, fine brush and worked great. Lots of control (I have small eyes). Great video - Big Hugs
Your nails with that nail polish looking adorable!! love it. Thank you for showing! XOXO
I love the lights behind your bed. cute idea!
I LOVE the nail polish you're wearing!
wonderful video.
I LOVE WATCHING YOUR VIDEOS & YOUR ROOM IS SOOO PRETTY!!! YOU ARE SO SERIOUS!! LOVE TIPS KEEP THEM COMING OK.
Milani liquify eyeliners are the best ones that I have tried!
I love how u go into detail. Ur so informative that i know exactly what im getting when i go to buy a product u mentioned. Thanks!
Thanks for sharing I really love the milani liquefy eye pencil in black and the gel liners and eyeliners from Physcians Formula!
Nyx makes a perfect dupe for MAC "Cranberry" as well. I love the Milk pencil!
You should really try the hard candy concealer's and the NYX eye liners and liquid eye liners are amazing for bold pigmentation!!
I have the champagne and cavier pallet and i love love love it! For some reason the trios suck at least the two I own. But that one I was really happy with.
Physician's Formula Mineral Blushes are wonderful for anyone who loves matte blush looks.
Applied 2nd coat and combed through. Loved it; stayed put, no crumbling or smudging. Got lots of compliments at the club.
What a plethora of information ... Thank you for your efforts! Very appreciative!
great video !!!! when i first started using make up it was CHANEL. i was told its the best!
I love my revlon gumdrop and softnude. Ur the one who recommended revlon soft nude and Brighton beach peach this is my favorite lip combo!
Apparently it depends on the area, all of the drugstores in our area carry a large selection of NYX.
Wet n' wild coloricon pencil eyeliners/brow liners are awesome!
also the maybelline instant age rewind concealer is great doesnt crease and lasts all day! i use the brightener one though it is a little light for me.
AWESOME REVIEW! Youre my go-to guru for makeup advice!
best drugstore make up video so detail. Very helpful. Thanks
keep up the great job.
I've been using Loreal Carbon Black Mascara for 2 months and I loved it so much I bought a backup.
Ur room is absolutely gorgeous!
All great products! Side note: your bedroom is soo adorable!
Try the Maybelline Master Drama eye liner in Midnight Master. That eye liner, is the greatest. NO running or smudging and it lasts ALL DAY in the water line. It is an intense black. about $6 at Wal Mart
lovely products,Can you please show your whole nyx shadows collection,Nyx is as good as most high end products and they don't cost much.Thank you.
Honey moon is my favourite hard candy blush!
