The meaning of this mv is deeper than I thought. After listening to the director's explanation, I understood why at the end of the mv, Hanni and Minji sat in Eva's place. In many cases, the people who create and spread rumors are probably the same as the perpetrators, maybe they are not the ones who do it directly, but the ones who pull the strings leading to the final consequences.

I am sure the MV shoot is only using the iPhone 14 Pro as the camera (sensor and lens). Monitoring is via external professional monitor. Recording, media storage is via an external recorder especially if they shhot in RAW, stabilization via external gimbal stabilizer, not internal. And then, there is the coloring sw, pro video editor, etc. We definitely see the depth of field is huge as a result of the small sensor on the iPhone. The setup is for sure not as simple as you or me taking a video on iPhone. In the US, the reception of ETA is at best mixed so far. If we look at the daily US Spotify stream data, ETA saw one of the largest drops among the 6 songs. After just 6 days, it already falls below NewJeans. Super Shy is the only song that seems to hold its ground and is probably the only song with some resiliency, although I doubt it will have the staying power of Ditto or OMG. Cool with you and NewJeans both suffer drops but to a lesser extent than ETA, Get Up and ASAP. ASAP is the worst performer here based on the above data.
I think Nwjns are Eva's jealousy thoughts. In the end of the video, there is only the man's shirt sticking out from the trunk. The girl in orange blouse is manifested from Nwjns (which are Eva's negative thoughts) beacuse Eva worried her boyfriend go to a party without her. I think the whole video is talking about Eva's OVER OVER OVER protective side with her boyfriend which lead the boyfriend's d3ath 😌

And connecting back to ditto, I don't think the nwjns girls are actually there with her aka Eva's real life friends. It's more along the line of them being there for Eva as their idols , because at the gas station scene, you see the girls dancing with their in-ear equipment and it's clipped to the front.
Actual meaning: that boy who cheat on his girlfriend refers to BangSiHyuk, who lied to the director, the name in lyrics “Hyejin” and “Jiwon” is the shareholders of Hybe, Park Jiwon did bad things to disband(break up) Gfriend and copying Hyejin to debut illit. Hyejin is Min Heejin who created NewJeans but hated and jealous by the other shareholders. The song is actually faulting Hybe Corp ((Min Heejin explained it in the press conference))
