Very dangerous lighting fires on beach. Coals can stay hot for hours even when covered by sand.

We would never start a fire unless it was permitted. At Cape Tribulation Camping, campfires are allowed. We bought the firewood at the campsite and ensured it was fully extinguished with ocean water at the end of the night. There's no need to worry 😊 All the best
