- Taylor Swift first appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone in March 2009, but the country pop star seems even more psyched the second time around. "That's what you hope for your whole life as a musician: the cover of Rolling Stone," Swift told us behind the scenes of her cover shoot in New York. "To be offered it for the second time now is amazing. I'm having a sort of dream week."
In between set-ups captured by photographer Theo Wenner, Swift chatted amicably about her latest smash single "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" and her bold new album Red, out on October 22nd.

I don't understand how she went from being proud of how different the songs sound from one another to getting so caught up in a review saying it wasn't "sonically cohesive" that her main goal for 1989 was to pander to them.
If I'm allow to make a guess. I just think that instrumental song's, would be 'State of Grace'.... Don't know for sure but, it's kinda epic song's. :D

I have a theory that Taylor got a voice coach around the 1989 era. Compare how she sounds here with some later interviews. She voice is deeper and calmer. Or maybe she just grew up.

+Final Fantasy Red lyrics are pure poetry, the music felt more mature and artistic, and that's why I love it, it's not because I don't like 1989 or the new era but I think Red reflects her skills and talent more, specially in writing.
