The color cues displayed on our instrument are based on the color space. l value corresponds to the black and white color bias, a value corresponds to the red and green color bias, and b value corresponds to the yellow and blue color bias. However, in practice, color mixing is very complex, and following the color cues on the instrument does not necessarily guarantee that the correct color can be mixed.

I ordered LS175, is the product different from LS173B..?

A large measuring aperture up to 20mm applicable to for color measurement on textured or rough surface materials;
LS173 with D/8° (SCI) optical geometry design, and LS175 is a 45/0 illumination geometry.
