- I went to Mexico with some friends to have a great adventure and run the longest race of my life. It didn't turn out like I envisioned...but when life hands you lemons, you buy tons of Tecate and make the best of it! The canyons are a beautiful place, and we met incredible people, our memories will not be tainted by the violence. Viva Caballo!

Expected a running video but came away with so much more! Things are tough in developing countries and hopefully the power of love will overcome the love of power. Very poignant video ...Respect!

Great work again Ryan. You gotta be disappointed but hopefully next time. Will you be heading to Burningman Ultra again in 2017 ? Success.
hi there! I'll for sure do the BM marathon in 2017, it's my fav race! Cheers my friend!
At the end of the day, the only people that suffer the consequences are the Rarámuri, the reason in the first place to go higher in the Sierra was to get away from conflict.
yep
@@duzer Great video!
Enjoyed every minute
Are you planning for bus trip to copper canyon for the next race at March 2018? If so, would like to join. I have already registered myself.
Not taking buses this time :) I'm registered too, see you down there.
What is the fastest way to go there? I can’t sit for too long on a bus. 😀
Wow! Great video but a sad ending.
You put together a great little story about the residents of Urique, their dedication to the area, and their struggles with crime in the area. I'm glad that the kids got to have their day.
Yeah, that year, it was all about the kids, so glad that they had fun, and so glad that this race lives on! Thanks for watching!
The Colorado Forrest Gump, Ryan Van Duzer
haha
how does a person travel down there if they have never gone
???
Watch my most recent videos and it'll give you an idea. There are many ways to get there, driving across the border, flying into Chihuahua and taking a train...
I want to thank my White brothers and sisters for what you're doing with the Tarahumara people. I'm from Mexico and I spent half of my life living in the United states, I know for experience there is racism in every single country but the people I met in America were amazing, I consider them my family.
I feel outraged by the cancelation of this race.
The Mexican government do nothing for the Raramuris and then by pressure of the cartels they don't allow good people like you to good in my country.
I enjoy a lot this documentaries, being a runner myself I take delight in all of this wonderful work.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL
Thanks for watching my video. I’ve been back to the canyons 4 times, it’s a magical place. You can find other Caballo Blanco videos on my channel
@@duzer Thank you for your great job, you had won a new subscriber.
