- Another beautiful performance sharing a message of love. After my reaction, I share some thoughts on an interview I watched recently to learn more about Dimash as a person. I will post another quote from that interview below that I found poignant and wanted to share.

“Overall, what worries me a lot these days is the recklessness of people. The recklessness of many people. I’m not talking about nations. Let me clarify this upfront. Perhaps my words will concern my close friends, my circle, and my family. But nations never stoop to such a level to start conflicts on their own. You know very well who pushes them into such conflicts.
'The world needs peace. Even if there are cultural differences, they should be harmonized. The fact is, people today are becoming increasingly divided by nationality, language, and race. Because of this, due to a small number of people in power, many nations suffer. In this regard, I want to make one observation. Overall, we consider ourselves much wiser than teenagers and children. We teach them to work, give them knowledge, explain to them how to live in society. We are involved in their upbringing. But there is much we can learn from teenagers and children. We have forgotten this. There are about a million children in the world who suffer from the actions of a small number of people. But I have never heard of millions of adults suffering from the actions of three or four children. So who, in that case, should be considered wiser? Who is wiser?

Dimash is an inspiration. He is a symbol of Unity and World Peace. Watch The Story of One Sky - there is a MV and a "live" performance. I highly recommend the "live " version but the MV is a masterpiece visually. I rate the performance on par with Michael Jackson's Earth Song for the powerful message to humankind. Thanks for your reaction again. See you on the next one !

This song was released just a few days ago. Such a beautiful song. It's a love song and I heard he dedicated it to a fan who died of cancer. She wanted to attend his concert but couldn't go because she felt so sick from the chemotherapy. When he heard about it, he visited her a few days before the concert. Unfortunately, she died before she could attend a concert. But I don't know if I remember the story correctly.
The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. He was just 22 years old at the time.

Olimpico is another masterpiece that Igor Krutoy wrote especially for Dimash’s vocal skills. It was written for the 2nd European Games in Minsk, Belarus 2019. And that’s why the lyrics are also very motivating.
This song and this performance from this Arnau concert is my absolute favourite🥰 I think this version is the best, because his performance is so intense and breathtaking. The light show, the background dancers. Everything. With this song in this version I always get breathlessness. The way he represents himself on stage, the hand movements. I think he has incredibly beautiful hands🤭(and apparently many cameramen think so too, since many of the camera shots during his performances very often only show his hands. Sometimes it seems as if he is conducting himself. This is really fascinating). And the facial expression, the look. There he looks so commanding😱. In my opinion, this version of Olimpico is one of the most impressive performances ever. If you don't know what the song is about, you'd think he was going to war and is calling his army to a lost battle 😅! It’s absolutely stunning. And I don't even mean the vocal part, but also his stage presence. The whole package. Oh wow I’m starting to rave again…🤤 Sorry but I can’t help it🥺. I swear it is mind-blowing 🤯

Yes, I'm 2017 at the age of 22 he was invited to be on The Singer as a wild card. They only expected him to last maybe a couple of episodes. The audience of 500 were the judges. Long story short at the end he came in second only because he wasn't Chinese. He stayed in China and performed many times and was loved very much. He still returns for special occasions.he became very popular after his first song called SOS Chinas RUclips had over 600 thousand likes.
