It could be significantly louder if he rotated the box speakers facing toward the back. I have the same car and rotating the speakers the right way made all the difference. It wasn't near as loud with the speakers facing up like that.
I'm not sure it would fit that way considering the way the box was built and the port would be choking.

I have an Sundown SA15 Dual4, Customed/Ported Box about 3.5ft³ @ 34hz.
1500.1D amp Stable @ 1ohm.
Yes you have yours wired to 2 ohm because you can't wire a dual 4-ohm down to one
you're gonna need another sub wired down to get that 1ohm draw

Seems to me that Taramps is handling lows and putting out power just fine. I wonder if he likes the amp or what he plans on going to? I'm really considering there new M8000.
liftingheavy1 I love my 15k I blew my 2 12’s had to upgrade to 2 15 spls
They have handled lows well fine after the last couple versions. They realized US users wanted to use them strictly for sub set ups and changed them a bit. Bass and HD series all play low lows just fine

You could get so much more potential out of them if they was somehow firing backwards.. facing up they fight gravity the cones and magnets kind of drag the subs firing up but still nice .. my Unk got 2 of those same subs on American bass amps hittin the same as this if not harder his car smaller so it flex more but this good check out my vid

If you are looking to up grade amps. I got a 14.2 taramp the t line series. They are the competition series. trying to sell that and I got 8 xfl 12s for sale too. I will take 1200 for the amp and 1100 for all 8 subs.
