Brian Gutekunst and the Green Bay Packers have done a nice job the past 2 offseasons collecting young and affordable talent with upside to surround Jordan Love with, and adding playmakers to Jeff Hafley’s defense. But, depth along the offensive line remains a bit of a concern. Even after choosing Jacob Monk, out of Duke, in the 5th round, the Packers could use a veteran presence such as Connor Williams along the interior. Connor Williams, as PFF points out, only allowed 1 and 1 quarterback hit before tearing his ACL in week 14. In Green Bay, the 26-year old could push for a starting job while providing quality depth which the Green Bay Packers could use. Connor Williams free agency has been likely delayed by the fact that he is coming off of a season-ending injury, “McGuinness writes for PFF. “But it was a season during which he set a career-high with an 86.5 PFF grade as the Miami Dolphins starting center. “At this point in the offseason, his best route to a long-term contract might be to sign a short-term, prove-it deal, and the Green Bay Packers could use the competition with Josh Meyers at the position. Josh Meyers was one of the lowest-graded centers in the league in 2023, earning a 54.7 PFF grade. While the Packers also added Jacob Monk through the 2024 NFL draft, Connor Williams experience when fully-healthy could be vital for a team that should be a competitor in the NFC in 2024.” Go Pack Go 💚💛

Hey Andy just wanted to say I love your show, I watch every day! Me and my buddy have been lifetime packer fans but we have never been to a packer game at Lambeau. We just booked our tickets to the Texans game week 7. Any recommendations on things we should do or see while we are there?

Hey Jon. That's awesome, what a perfect game to to go. And thank you for all of your support. I put together a vid last year of everything to do at training camp so while it's not training camp, most of the video is still applicable!

I say keep the "Live Lucky" hat. You don't need a hat to "carry the G" because it's tattooed on your heart. GPG!

I see this as a 5 WR roster until proven otherwise. The drop-off after WR5 Bo Melton and the lack of special teams use makes me question why another WR would see the field other than the position being decimated by injury which would just result in a practice squad call up. Malik Heath was a great story but despite his standout blocking I don't know why he would be chosen to block instead of a TE whose special teams ability already far exceeds any of the WR and will be further emphasized by the new kickoff rules. The potential third QB and the large group of OL with a legitimate chance to claim a roster spot add further competition. Heath, Grant Dubose, Samori Toure and Julian Hicks are all practice squad options. Roster bubble WRs don't get claimed by other teams all that often due to the fact that every team has their own. Unless one really stands out I think the Packers have more important and more useful options to fill the back end of their roster.

@@BrianClaycombThe Packers are going to cut some very good players. This roster is going to be very strong.

Hope they keep Heath. Felt like he played well in the few reps he got

@@rjfriske4137 Heath could continue to develop and take advantage of additional opportunities but I think there is a talent gap when compared to the top 5 WR (Reed, Wicks, Doubs, Watson and Melton). Some stats that may support my opinion (although I have no issue with anyone having their guy that they put their belief in)
Heath posted only 125 yards in 13 games with 1.2 receptions per game (Bo had 218 yards in 5 games/Wicks surprisingly lowest with 2.6 receptions per game)
8.3 yards per reception (lowest of top 5 WR was Doubs with 11.4 Y/R)
success rate of 41.7% (top 5 all above 50%)
