    I usually stay away from "update" or "Live" posts but these are very nicely done, thank you. Just because you have a passion project doesn't mean it automatically translates to RUclips. You guys combine the digital talents needed and your passion and generosity comes through and give the channels high value.

    I think you are doing a great job there. The way you present what your community is doing is more precise and on the point.

    thanks so much for the updates. Also, good idea to share the responsibility for presentation of the MN. Dave deserves a break, and it's "one army" and not "one man", anyway :)
    I'm training to be a pastor and am very interested to see "spiritual life" as a whole package: not just "spiritual questions" vs "worldly/practical life", but it connects. So, plastic use and recycling is very important to me. I don't have much more than a dorm room and some simple tools, but I'm experimenting a lot, especially with low-tech applications for slums/other poor communities. I so far have made some fused plastic shopping bags, a backpack, and just recently, my first (very rough) cutting board. You are some of the people who keep me inspired and going. Thanks, and greetings from Germany :)

    Hello. The housing issue is so important and thouse houses probably have owners but it doesnt exist a real policy to fix thouse houses to people live in it. And the rent in Porto is at this time higher, than the National wage salary.
    Great to have this news from tour work. Really like it. 👍🏻💪 keep up

    Just a small correction about the bridge you mentioned, the author wasn't Gustave Eiffel. The bridge on the image is from a Eiffel's student.
    But Gustave Eiffel has a bridge in Porto, it's the old train Bridge. The one near the plantation you mentioned.

    It would be nice if you could use RUclips's tool to split video topics within the video. I like watching most of the news, but am particularly interested in Project Kamp. This makes it easy for myself and others to see what we're interested in when we're in a rush or just don't have time. That said, you guys are inspiring, keep it up!

    The new format is OK. Those bicycle shredders are interesting. But on the (proto)types that I have seen, the "rider" can't see what he is doing.
    Many people "ride" on stationary bicycles these days, especially when the weather is bad (too cold, too wet, to windy) as an alternative for outside cycling.
    There are "spinning clubs" all over the world (unfortunately 99,99% is closed, due to the COVID restrictions)
    How nice should it be, if somebody can develop a bicycle-powered conveyer-belt and shredder in which the input of plastic is at the backside of the bicycle
    and the output of shredded plastic in front of the rider.

  • @marcel7576
    @marcel7576 3 года назад

    I like the video, but making a bicycle shredder is just dumb and a waste of time if you want to do large quantities of shredded plastic (which is your goal).

    • @IrishEagIe
      @IrishEagIe 3 года назад +5

      It's great for people who are starting off and don't have the money for a shredder

    • @JanKrummrey
      @JanKrummrey 3 года назад +6

      There are two sides to your argument. One is production efficiency. There you are right. The other side is generating awareness. Being able to engage first hand (feet) what it takes to recycle shouldn't be underrated.
      So have bike shredders up front where people can see and interact with it and motorized ones downstream where the bulk of the work is being done.

      I don´t think he is pushing the religious stuff at all KalTube. And this channel isn´t just for Precious Plastic either. It´s the One Army channel and under that falls videos for Project Kamp. He went to spend time with the Krishna monks to understand how they live as a community as research for Project Kamp. If they choose to share the knowledge of community living on this channel, then they are entirely entitled to do so.

      They were there to see an example of how to live together peacefully, I think.
      The main issue between monks (the same for any religious community) and PP community, is that monks doesn't make anything good for the humanity (they speak about non-existing deity for money, basically), and PP should make useful things to help in finding a solution on the plastic problem.
