I didn't care much about the "10 hour lasting" claim when I bought it, but now it's a reason why I won't buy this again. The youtuber in this video is from my country (Vietnam) and she has tested this sunscreen on her back. After 3 hours under the sun in Nghe An - one of the hottest place in Vietnam - the back area where she put on this suncreen burned as much as the area where she didn't put any sunscreen on. The degree on that day was 31°C (~88 F) More explanation: the sunscreen is not water-resistant so when she sweated on her back, it rubbed off. I think this is definitely a nightmare for someone with oily skin. The video I mentioned: ruclips.net/video/77SySnhpQyQ/видео.htmlsi=1KHkuDeP-ojIRTVi
The Mad about skin is the best I've used. So light weight and wears so well and doesn't pill when re-applying. Its also amazing for my acne sensitive skin, and i don't need moisturiser. And I've literally tried loads x
I just watched the video twice and I don't think you mentioned if your sunscreen or Numbuzin were water resistant. Also, both sunscreens look great on your face 👍🏾
I got the numbizin last week and it is very nice and lightweight but to be honest, if you’re putting over other skincare I didn’t really feel much difference between this one and yours. I am still on leave from work so I haven’t put it up to a full day wear test with makeup etc. but will let you know when I do! 😘
Like the matching shirt to the sunscreen package 😊. I can't wait to try it. The package looks much smaller than most korean sunscreen tube package that's also 50ml ?! I am currently trying the numbuzin #3 toner, and #5 vitamin concentrated serum. Very pleased with both!! With 2 hits on that brand, I am getting a good feeling with their sunscreen too without even trying it : ).
Okay Rob, I'm sold. I need both this Numbuzin and the MAS sunscreen. It's been really hot and insanely humid here in Upstate NY lately, and a super-lightweight sunscreen with minimal hydration and a blurring effect is exactly what I need. But the MAS one -- you mention the plumping effect it has, and it's amazing to actually be able to SEE the difference. Most times people say something plumps and you look and think "Really? Does it? Where?" But with yours, it literally does!
Do you have an opinion about numbuzin claiming you don’t need to reapply this and that it lasts 10 hours? I don’t see anywhere that it was tested for water resistance or sweat resistance so I think that’s a bad idea to market it like this
I’ve tried this without reapplying when I went to a water theme park. It’s def not water proof but my face was not tanned at all at the end of the day. Makes me scared to try others that need reapplying. Asian skin here btw in Msia.
My acne, sensitive, clog prone skin is scared to try this sunscreen because it has a few pore clogging & fungal acne causing ingredients. Has any one had experience with this clogging them, esp. if you have skin like mine? thank you!
I suggest look for vichy. I m sensitive and acne prone however vichy sunscreen been my thing for 6 to 8 years now. Thry don t plog and are feeling amazing on my skin
The sunscreen name you mention & the one in your link don’t match. It’s the same brand but called something different. Tried searching the one you’re talking about but seems it’s not available on Stylevana?
Hi Hun they are exactly the same formula they just changed the name so some places stock one and other another but the one in the link is the one with this finish and formula.. Hope that helps xx
I’m so curious now! I loved the MAS sunscreen through the winter, but now that it’s summer and my skin is more oily as well, I find I like the Beauty of Joseon one better on the face; it dries down just a little more matte. Then I use the MAS on my body, and it’s perfect. Now I might have to try this one when I’m done with my current stash of Beauty of Joseon!
Hi Hun.. great questions.. cruelty free for sure and fragrance free which is great.. there is not a standard definition of reef safe but I would count this as because it hasn't got any of the potentially problematic old style 'US' filters.. love x
Have you tried the Altruist face fluid? How does it compare? I recently discovered Altruist and it is the most lightweight, fragrance free, great coverage, perfect for hot summers
I love the Altruist face fluid, but I wish you could buy a bigger size. Also I've noticed as Altruist expands the range, the newer ones are not such good value. Don't get me wrong it's not expensive, but the brand has some skincare products now and these cost more and put this is giving the brand some competition instead of the being the best and excellent value.
@wilmaknickersfit2531 I agree However the 100ml sunscreen has a pretty similar texture, also lightweight and very nice. Heard some really bad reviews about the green one so I won't even go there lol The urea cream though is awesome for the body and cheapppp
@@danielac5090 I struggle with chemical sunscreens and although the Altruist is a combo the original tubes used to make my eyes sting if put it on my face - but the other products are OK! 🤷 I even have the green one which is brilliant at covering my rosacea redness but it is too dark for me and have to mess with it to make it work. The urea tubes are brilliant and I like the face moisturiser (with hyaluronic acid, but no spf). Such a good range of reasonable and cruelty free UK brands available at the moment.
Hi Rob, do you know if this is cruelty free/vegan? I can’t see it mentioned in the description on stylevana, also does it irritate your eyes at all? Much love x
The brand confirmed to me they were fully cruelty free though not sure if it's vegan.. I hadn't had any eye irritation at all with it but my eyes are not particularly sensitive.. hope this helps xx
Really useful video Rob! Gonna try your MAS Sunscreen - I'm in my mid 50's but still have oily and acne scarred skin but oddly, now I'm older I am actually seeking out products that enhance glow and dewiness and do not mattify. I think it just makes me look healthier and is different to looking and feeling oily. Don't know if that makes sense! I have to say your skin looks amazing and glowing!
I keep looking at the danish k-beauty shops to see whether they have that sunscreen in stock and so far I haven't found it. I hope they'll soon stock it 😊
There are plenty of American and Western European skincare companies I'd use before buying any Korean brands. I personally use Supergoop Unseen as my sunscreen and primer. It's fantastic.

I picked this up last month and am in love! As an oily gal in humid Michigan, it has been perfect. Not oily, not shiny.
It made my skin so greasy after an hour or so of application. I can fill up 6 sheets of oil blotter and still have some oil left after blotting.
This is the only sunscreen I have ever been able to use. It is a miracle.
Same for me. I suppose it’s time to stock up before it becomes difficult to find.
Have you tried Rhoto mentholatum Skin Aqua Essense gold or gel gold? Curious how they conpare to one you showed🎉

@@butterflyrp1438 yes definitely. I have acne oily and sensitive skin and it's been amazing Hun x
Hey rob..is numbuzin no 5 vitamin concentrate serum and vitamin concentrate pads are similar or should be used together for better results?
I just watched the video twice and I don't think you mentioned if your sunscreen or Numbuzin were water resistant. Also, both sunscreens look great on your face 👍🏾
They both are not water resistant. Which is why they will never be my go to everyday sunscreens.

Sugestions on someting similar ( lightweight, non greasy) but waterproof?
Check out a Japanese sunscreen. They seem to do more waterproof sunscreens than Koreans. I like Biore UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence for example.
