walter rojas Yes i get that this is not Brian or Cory, they are both great musicians but what can i say they both left the band i cant do anything about that neither then you. Everyone has their own opinion on their taste of music. I heard many types of post-hardcore and this is better then most of the bands out there. (once again my own opinion). Also i like to add by saying its pretty funny seeing you guys taking your time to writing your hate comments. That's really childish. No one is forcing you to listen to this shit, you dont need to watch this.

+Tyler Mcgilvery But no one likes bands changing. While in some cases its good bands don't change. Whether changing is bad or good, fans still complain.
And you never see people complain that bands don't change. I've yet to see anyone mad because Breaking Benjamin is still the same. I guess technically, because that comes out of the fact, what bands start out doing, is typically what defines them. Unless they are a multi-genre band, then their first genre tends do define them.
Metallica hasn't been thrash metal in years but they are still considered a Thrash band.

A Skylit Drive will always be A Skylit Drive, now say if Micheal leaves and it sounds completely different that would be sad but you are right not everyone likes change but keep in mind people usually just want a reason to bitch. Like me if micheal leaves because that dude has a good voice o.o
They get better and better with every album. This newest one instantly became one of my favorites albums ever. Risk It All is my favorite!

Not comparing to Wires or Rise. Or Brian and Cory. This song is good. I myself am a musician, so I can really hear the work put into this song. Everyone's saying It`s a bit repetitive. Yeah sure. But that was done on purpose. It has nothing to do with the lack of "Writing Abilities". This band has nothing but Writing Abilities. Bravo Guys.

+Ian Gonzalez I don't even get how people can say repetitive means bad, I mean most of the biggest hits ever are repetitive , especially rock hits like Numb or Enter Sandman. I think you hit it right on the nail, it is purposely repetitive.

+Ian Gonzalez I don't hear repetitiveness so much as a continuation. I am vocals and dance and my partner is vocal and instruments. I hear the past album merging into this one slowly. It is what we know as ASD but with a new "breath of fresh air".

This song really sounds much better when I listen to it in my headphones. I love this song, it has a different vibe than the other songs, and it gives me a bit of hope for maybe some sweeps in a song or two on the album. The one thing I heard lacking in Rise was a lack in lead guitar, and I'm glad to hear it back. I also thought the mixing in Rise always a bit muddy, and this one sounds much better.
Yeah, I thought ASD was definitely a step up from "Rise." The new replacement members definitely made ASD an improvement instrumentally, and Kit Walters did a much better job producing ASD than Cameron Mizell did with Rise. At least this final album went out with a bang.

I love how every album has a different sound, everything about A Skylit Drive is awesome. Certainly their old stuff was great but this is too. Anyone who says their new stuff sucks should put a link to their own album so we can compare. Every artist evolves, ASD is going to change and they will continue to change

& I like this melodic touch including the darker undertone. it's like old ASD comes a lil bit back. thats what I realized when "Within These Walls" came out
& I hope they will stick to that sound.

& I hope they will have "better" setlists in future.

Great message. Great clean & unclean vocals. Heavy, fast and energetic as fuck. I love that you can really hear the difference with the addition of Michael & Brandon. As always when it comes to A Skylit Drive, I have zero complaints. Each record is always different but never bad or a let down to me. I fucking love this band, past & current line-up.
I miss this band so fucking much. And I actually prefer the final lineup and sound over the original lineup and sound.

I've listen to this band since I first heard the album She Watched the Sky. I've enjoyed them. I'll admit with some of their later albums, I strayed. not because I didn't enjoy them but because I started getting more into different bands. I have to say though, I have not hear it yet, but if this entire album has the energy and sound of this song.... I'm back.
This band has only gotten better throughout the years. The Jorden Blake days are over ppl. That was 10 years ago. An og 916 fan and the creator of the Texas Chainsaw video. Loved these guys since day 1. ASD for Lyfe!

obviously everyone has their opinions but I'm really digging this song just because this song has repetitive lyrics doesn't mean it was a bad song for me the lyrics were more impactful by the energy of the song and it's message "bring me a war." for me war is chaotic and not something that is some sort of pattern this song and the production played out the chaos for me and that is what brought out the lyrics and made them that more meaningful... over all i loved it and i couldn't expect any less from ASD!!! some people should stop trying to compare music all the time and actually listen for once js anyways I'm proud of you guys!!!
