ooo, they have radios now! I wonder if those who participated in WW2 are having a harder time adjusting to the radios than the others, due to bad memories.. Stellar episode all around though!
Ok, wasn’t expecting the Queen to be the one for the cutting ceremony. Good show for that and Daisy learning her limits and understanding her place of being a passenger engine. Great video!
The joy and wonder of looking outside seeing it snow, making a good cup of cocoa, and watching one of these videos was not how I expected today going, but I’m happy it did.
@@GreatWesternSFM to add onto ur comment he gave me motivation for a short time to work in trainz sadly I can’t do a series without a lot of things but still he is very good
Didn't expect that it would be the Queen that would be the celebrity visiting here, but nice to see her. And 1953, that reminds me of "Paint Pots & Queens".
This was truly a great Daisy episode. You can really feel her struggle in this. This is so far my favorite episode of this season, without question. Curious to see Losses.
Considering Victor once said Daisy was his least favourite RWS character (he still likes her, just not as much as most other characters), it’s cool that he wrote such a compelling story around her.
Top notch storytelling. It's a shame that these episodes aren't longer, but I'll take what I can get. It'd be a sin to deny the world such stories just for the sake of extended runtime when they're perfect as they are.
I thought that Daisy was letting Dudley's words get to her. It's best that she tried to do other things that she wasn't capable of, even if they ended badly every time, but it was better than nothing.
The Queen herself! Oh my goodness! What an unexpected honor! 👑 And fancy Daisy having to come to her assistance. After her attempts at being extra useful, I'd say she deserved it. 😁
Daisy did some mistakes but after getting some really good advice from her friends she learnt that she is better 😅being abl e to pick-up passengers than doing other things is the best way to make everyone feel better. And It earns her a lot of respect form Everyone
"THIS IS THE 3RD TIME WE HAVE TO RESHOOT THE INTRO VICTOR, WHY ARE YOU PUTTING CHARACTERS IN THE INTRO IF THEY'RE NOT GONNA SURVIVE, THAT'S IT, I'M GONNA RETRIEVE PINCHY AND FEED IT THE RAW AUSTRALIAN DISH!" -Joshua, genuinely pissed at how many times they are gonna reshoot his scene in the intro due to the character next to him dying
@@RiverDoncaster So? He could still die. That's the problem about it! No offence or so, but yeah, it doesn't really matter. Every engine could die except for Edward, because he's the narrator, and without him, we wouldn't have the stories and some others that have been stated to still have a happy life nowadays!
Just a minor point, in radio communication, over and out isn’t a real thing. It’s either over or out due to the two having to close but different uses. Over: You’ve finished your transmission and expect a reply. Out: You’re done transmitting, no reply is needed. I blame Hollywood for fueling this problem.
It was such a great episode once again! All 5 episodes have been great so far, and I bet the last 5 episodes will be such as great if not greater. I was conflicted on the Dudley episode last time, felt more like filler and didn't seem to have much effect to the overall story of the season, though of course as always episodes which don't seem to be that important as you're watching them, they become important later on. Dudleys comments to Daisy last episode is the whole reason everything that happened in this episode happened. Great job this time, Victor!
She might actually be the first railcar to ever overgrow her Limits, for her class they are only good for pulling a small amount of wagons and haul passengers, Bravo Daisy, Bravo Victor.
She broke down on the hill too. Not surprising. But I am impressed with the main morality of this video - value your capabilities and don't get manipulated by ignorant a-holes. Great job, Victor. (Hope the kids-only algorithm will not come here...)
Another excellent episode Victor. I enjoyed the character development for Daisy wanting to do more than she was designed for even if it was because of Dudley’s harsh words but it’s great that she learned to work within her limits. Also I like the concept of the engines officially having radios which I remember Peter saying in the episode “Admends” they should’ve been allowed to keep their radios from WWII to make communication easier. And I was both surprised to see The Queen visiting Sodor and proud of Daisy saving the day and getting the unofficial title of The Royal Railcar.
Victor's cooking a Grand episode for Daisy. Dudley's words haunted her mind into doing foolish things, but she accepted her worth and is now a really useful Passenger Diesel.
Before this video gets made for kids I have a lot of things to say Everyone has their limits, Daisy shouldn't has tested her and Brian (wonderful to see him again) And I must say, I was definitely surprised to see The Queen in your series Victor (May she rest in peace) But all I can say, brilliant video/episode of The Stories of Sodor
I have this ritual every Friday, I always work a 12 hour shift, when 1:00 rolls around I literally rush to somewhere quiet and watch the stories of sodor
I would love to see Daisy upgraded by mr hull to be able to pull a couple coaches for her services as a passenger engine like having interconnected coaches that have the flexible passages
I think Victor's stories have been the only ones to include Boco and Daisy in the same scene, during the model era of the show thiss was because Boco and Daisy used the same motor chassis and they only had the one so they'd be swapping the body shell out, funnily enough Daisy and Boco also use the same face model with Daisy having Makup applied.
This was a great character-driven story for Daisy! She's a lot more hardworking and determined in this universe compared to how she started out in the RWS, that's for sure.
He said he had plans for him for maybe season 7. Perhaps a newly built replica of him. I had a new name for Thomas MK2 Thom-nathan. Similar to Jonathan.
Thomas will be happy that his friends are working hard besides the new boss he is still proud of his friends including the blue engine that looks like Percy looking after Thomas’s branch line
Just like Daisy I chase validation and try to help but fail. As a person on the autism spectrum I can use my attention to detail and punctuality to my advantage! :D 4:18 you don’t think when you’re in love hunny. (Sorry! I see both of them and get kinda excited because Boco and Daisy) Another spectacular episode Victor! ❤🥰
I kind of think daisy shouldve asked for the upgrades. Or had their implementation saved until she needed maintenance or an overhaul. It would be a good thing to have some improved power in case of emergencies. Or if an extra coach was needed in case she had more passengers than she can carry. Or needed a simple milk van to be pulled
I wonder if her Majesty the Queen visited the Ffarquhar Branch while she was there, and what her thoughts on the current size of the working fleet there were?
I ate McDonald’s when watching the last Stories of Sodor episode now I’m eating a stuffed crust pizza from Dominos while watching this episode, I think I should eat KFC or Popeyes for the next episode of Stories of Sodor.
Daisy doing more than what she was built for is an interesting concept. I guess the whole "Bad for my swerves" actually meant something.
Although it would have been cool to see an upgraded daisy
I have a feeling that Rosie is the main character for now
No wonder then.
Yup. IRL, Daisy's class (BR Class 101/102) only had 150hp per unit, which is less than a typical modern economy car.
I’ve noticed that the engines are using their whistles, horns and bells a lot more in this series now unlike how it was before when it was rare
Why is the intro camera off
This is so cool that Daisy ended up saving the day and got to meet the Queen
Yeah, the entire episode was amazing
and being dubbed "The Royal Railcar", what an honor

I love how the engines now have radios.
Nice to have Brian involved. Haven't seen him since Season 4.
Never thought I'd ever relate to Daisy of all characters, official or otherwise lol
A lovely story. Looking forward to the next one!
At 0:31, I was not expecting that engine to be Dudley's replacement for the intro.
Is that Rowan?
I expected something but not THAT.
Yeah, I was very surprised to see Rowan there! I wonder if he'll be appearing in this series in the future.

Let’s pray Victor doesn’t kill him off like he did Geoffrey and Dudley, who have both passed by Josh/10 in the intro before…

Wow, I loved that Daisy got some character development!
11:43 The queen looks perfect in 3 polygons
I imagine that all non-faceless rolling stock would feel useless sometimes because of the fact that they can’t move on their own

Best series on the internet by far
And yet STILL always slapped by COPPA, no matter how mature the content.
Yep all of these comments will be gone in a few days
Daisy really proved herself.. damn proud of her
I guess we should call her Daisy, the Royal Railcar
Easily the best episode of the season so far! Perfectly paced, not too short, and near perfect writing!
Top notch storytelling. It's a shame that these episodes aren't longer, but I'll take what I can get. It'd be a sin to deny the world such stories just for the sake of extended runtime when they're perfect as they are.
Stories of Sodor has come a long way from season 1 to here. Victor, you did a good job on this series.
ahh it was a good attempt by Daisy, great to see her get over her issues and rise to new heights doing what she does best
2:50
Daisy: And BoCo has stalled on the hill.
Rosie: Wait, what?!
Daisy: Wait, what?!
XD!
It’s really sad that when you see the main engines, they cut off the empty one that used to belong to Thomas.😢😮
they also changed the engine that pulls Annie and clairibell in the intro
