as hcp 7 i practice like coach when on short game area. But first i practice speed control to know where to take the club for the different length, then practice high and low shots, not on numbers but 1 short, 1 long one in between. To finish up i practice spin control, do be able to pitch with spin, with less spin to be able to control the shorts on the different surfaces the greens has. I also spend time in the semi-rough and rough to hit those shots there, to feel how the clubface react when i am in deep weed :) .... simulating real game situations... Distance and spin control is important, and remember to clean the grooves on the wedge after each shot.
I love this. I don't remember who produced the video but it was about teaching an extreme slicer to hit an extreme hook. Once you can hit that hook then you work backwards from there towards more neutral. This distance control drill makes perfect sense. Great video Coach!
Nice… I definitely appreciate the size of the circle looking bigger than I think. It’s definitely confidence inducing and pressure relieving. Loving it Coach!
I have a Ping G20 31 deg hybrid which I bought from a charity shop. Percentage-wise, better as a ‘chipper’ from anything within 50 yds and also gives a high launching, quick stopping 140 yds option 🤷🏻♂️
As somone once said , the more i practice , the sh*ttier i get ! Well not quite , but it does for me 😂😂 great vid janner !!! Hope you are loving life !
Hey Coach, I'm going to give a couple of those ideas a try. Years ago I started with hitting random distances measured at the pitching green with the Laser, like 45 and 71etc. Different sessions were different distances. Within a month or so i had a great feel for yardages and soon could feel what was needed for really good shot. Are you still sporting the Odyssey AI Milled 6T? I'm trialing a Ping DS72 which is the same style as the 6T, but wondering if the AI face and counterbalanced shaft of the Odyssey will gain me additional benefits. Any feedback appreciated.
I can believe it … I have knocked off about 8 strokes from practicing my short game relentless for the last 3 weeks … my putts have went from 18-20 per round to 13-14 putts and have a few hole outs .. my driving has been fine but short game and putting was killing me

Glad you liked it!
I believe in short game practice.. just wondering what club you are using .. I use a 62 is that the right club ?
I practice putting that way
Nice 👌
Now that's a very interesting idea. As soon as the gout eases off I'm away to the practice ground.
