So I've found out, and the database confirms this, that the Acid Spit Gahz'an does(not the pools on the ground) is an aoe split mechanic. Full damage i think it's 10-ish K on M0 but if you're next to someone both you take 5k each, 3.3K next to 2 people, and so on. The way to go is tank in front and DPS and healer stack behind in melee range and all just move together out of the pools. I've seen so many healers die because they're in the middle of nowhere social distancing taking 2/3 of their health in damage every several seconds and can't keep themselves and the tank up at the same time. That fight tends to highly favor CoJ and DS healer playstyles since they're in melee with the DPS anyways. Also, the class fantasy of a big fuck off hammer plus book is possible with Titan's grip. Yes you get a penalty but you also negate the healing penalty by using an offhand. Healers do it very often with staff+off hand to get the raw stat combo+10% spellhaste. -Moisturemage Edit P.S. I dislike how good Sinister Strike is in Ascension. Every melee build has it, because it gives you combo points and even if you don't use them you still get an instant free melee attack. AND they've made it so that other abilities proc from Sinister Strike. It's just a staple, good pick in almost every situation.
i don't know how possible this is (since i do not play Ascention) but would a range Damage healer with Shadowbolt (or other shadow spells) and Vampiric Embrace work?

great build a advice for the hydra boss you just need to stack as 4 man on his tail, then you only need to heal the samll dot of the pool below you + the big hits does split between all players that are standing near to you :)
Honestly my problem with the heroics isn't the gear in them it's the people. So often I get people just straight up MISSING 3-5 items equipped or have items with almost no stats. That and like half the runs disband for no reason. I just wanna skip heroics altogether any time I'm gearing because they're just that insufferable of an experience.
I see CoJ is completely different now than it used to be. After running bgs to 35ish it just feels ok. Better in pve. Anyone like or dislike how it is now? Is it strong? (Area-52)

I just played draft this week. I gotta admit thats the stupidest shit i ever saw lol. If you are a new player, you are gonna get SCREWED ! You WILL get cards that are WORTHLESS to your build lol. I tried to make a hunter. Im 39 now. I literally have 2 fuking hunter moves lol. Autoshot and concussion. I have used the item that lets you swap some out, but honestly it didnt really elp at all. basically traded in spells for more spells lol.And i dont even have the mana for them lol.I feel FORCED to play as a shitty spellcaster lol. You gotta play for while befoire you can actually buy stuff and cards that help. Going into BG was a funny experience as you play people who have lots of cards and gold. They wil STOMP your ass until you play like 100 hours of it lol. I was really hoping for it to be COMPLETELY random but thats not the case. Some people have it all figured out and can literally tell what cards will be next O.o
Sad thing is in retail holy pally is considered melee healer but feels awful to play just Holy Shock and crusader strike to get holy power and use Light Of Dawn or Word Of Glory for healing mostly. They do have a talent Avenging Crusader that has a 2 min cd that lets your crusader strike and Judgement heal 3 people for 20 secs but I was hoping in DF they would make it passive or cost 3 holy power
Just want to say your videos got me really into this game. I want to give you one tip because the first thing I did was make a god tier healer when I started playing. You should pick up the talent in the holy priest tree that states when you crt with holy spells you can cast flash heal for free and it makes it an instant cast. This then stacks serendipity to mesh with the rest of your build.

I was wondering are there any solo dungeon diver kind of builds? Something that can be used to heal yourself while dps'ing maybe with some tankiness added. When I used to play retail a long time ago one of my main ways of making gold was spending a weekend clearing older dungeons with my best bud. I can do some solo level 60 dungeon content on my mythic geared con strike pally but always looking for something with a lil more oomph. Love your videos, just need time to play around with all the builds! Is it an add-on that shows the flashing icons left/right/top of your character based on ability procs (gold holy symbols for paladin, lightning for shamans etc.)? I thought it was a wow feature but can't find a way to enable them
i still can't believe no ones made a 1 handed melee build using all the melee haste you can get from enchants (50+%) aka using the swashbuckler epic where you strictly use 1x 1 h weapon. i used it on my carnage bear because carnage(rend) gets effected by melee haste with the 3/3 trauma capstone but i'm sure there are other builds that would benefit from it

Running the same build have been for a couple weeks. If you use some marks to get seal of wisdom you will literally never run out of mana and your mythic+ will be a breeze

I understand why they restricted Mythic, because too many people have been coming in with waaaay to low DPS. But it really ruined it for me, I am not gonna go 5+ dungeons to get 1 gear piece. It is literally not worth my time, when there are Work, Friends and other games I rather play, then wasting 3-4 hours to get 1 gear piece or no gear piece....
funny i was just leveling one of these myself, i went for the extra insta casts like Riptide, Prayer of Mending, Holy shock. im trying to avoid casting if i can, i also use Healing stream totem with REs and Consecration passive healing, my only real casts are Prayer of Healing and Greater heal. its very fun but i do lack Avenging wrath so here we go again. - Ost Al'ar
Reminds me of the melee Chloro/Harb mage build and the super comfy feeling warrior healers from Rift. Melee healers are just great. I sort of feel similar about Atonement healing too. I was DPSing in a BRD during my first resolute and the healer bailed. My paladin skills without any healing talents managed to get us pretty far before my heal throughput literally weren't enough for our underlevelled 🍑. I might consider CoJing it up should I ever return to it.

paladin T1 gear was fun, 8 pieces: Gives the Paladin a chance on every melee hit to heal your party for 189 to 211. I was using it in dungeons with fast 1h, like 1.5 or so. it was proccing quite offten. Fun way to heal :D

i tried something like this for duo arena and world pvp. to make the dmg and healing be seamless you need focus cast macros and put your tank on focus. you can cast all your heals without targetting the tank so you can continue to dps

Why Spirit if you heal from Attacks if you Hit less you also heal less? Also Spirit is Bad because Champion of Justice Returns Mana on Hit.

Need prayer of healing. Can literally jus spam it over an over. CoJ LRE is such a fun build and can be mixed so many ways.
The spirit vs strength isn't totally accurate, you have 30% that isn't stacked up. So it's actually more even then shown so it's fine either way.

so does it mean that your prime stat is strength rather than spirit??? is it okay for battle healers to went strength as prime stats?

Would titans grip be a detriment in any way so you could use a book in your offhand?
TG is kinda bad for all healers and for healer who heal true dmg its even worse
