That's a really good point! It would be interesting to see where Void would sit if it could be augmented. I doubt it would be top tier but could have a few niche uses. Can't see that bringing people back to PC long term even if it was meta everywhere tho.
@@BloodCovenRS I'd love to see Void being augmentable. I think it'd be fair considering you lose the glove slot, so Cinders etc are out with Void. Tho at that point, adding a boot slot item that is similar to Cinders in some way, doesnt have to be poison dmg but something that works with all styles would push Void up immediately as glass cannon setup, or I think it would. Oh also, necromancy Void helm needed

I remember playing Soul Wars and always getting killed at the respawn point by people spamming Ice Barrage. Minigames were terrible experiences for low-level players like I was
An overlooked but probably lesser contributor to minigames failing is that pkayer input never caused jagex to make any meaningful changes to minigames. Shattered Worlds is still a fairly popular early game levelling tool especially for ironmen but when people asked for multiplayer they said "hmm we'll think about it" then never did it lol
I definitely feel like you are missing some factors here. For one, the OSRS playerbase is not that much younger (certainly not teenagers anymore), yet minigames are very much more alive there. Pest Control, Barbarian Assault, and Soul Wars still have theme worlds that are relatively active. They also have decent rewards. Compared to trouble brewing/fight pits, which are completely dead and have no good rewards in OSRS. So certainly, rewards play a factor in keeping minigames alive.
Can't they add a bot AI / assist feature for minigames for those who do want to play? For example pest control, even if one person gets on the boat, boat gets filled with AI bots that play the minigame with me so at least I can still play it. Same with castle wars, have actual bots running around playing the game instead of AFKing at base.

Wildy is dead because of eoc 😂😂 pvp is just trash, it's a battle of who can reflect more damage with their abilities 😂😂 ypu can literally stand in one spot and the enemy will kill themselves just hitting you if you use the correct abilities and if you do take any damage you just heal it all back with defensive abilities. Eoc literally ruined the game as a whole.
