I posted a review on fragrantica some days ago saying that Bleu Electrique was like a modern version of the original La Nuit de L’homme before the reformulation and I seen someone afterwards refute it. Then I watch this video…I’m glad someone else agrees with me and hits it on the money.

It genuinely is an amazing date night fragrance. Especially if you know youll be getting cozy ;). Not so good for clubs and or crowd attention grabbers, the projection is weak unfortunately. Barely 1 ft after an hour of spraying

@@hofexx On my skin I think it’s lasting about 9 hours with 3 hours projection. I honestly can’t remember. I’m trying to save it for special occasions since it’s so hard to find. Next time I wear it I’ll post here about longevity and projection.

Greetings my friend I agree with you the only thing that bothers me is that they do not have the 100ml bottle. I do not understand a perfume with that quality and the brand does not launch it in 100 on Saturday I continue to check it in the macys shopping center to see if the price drops a bit and the 2.0 version is still very high I think and that holds me I have others in my list that for the price they sell it I buy another 100ml. But tell me if $ 84 with a couple of cents is very high, the price I say also includes taxes, let me know why I can put up with it but I'm about to buy it, greetings friend 🌊🏄🌴😎🌞😀🌞👍.

I don't know the original la nuit, but to me the blue electrique just smells sweet and slightly fresh. in my eyes it somehow has no character. it smells good, but no wow effect imo. :/

Just blind bought it from Macy's. Wasn't able to smell it anywhere. God I hope this stuff doesn't let me down. Definitely bought in to the hype on this one.

@@Rapacallion Not really worth the hype. Order a decant first. It's a good fragrance but it has performance issues to me. 4 hours. If you liked the original one get it but i wouldn't put in my top 5 of 2021. My wife likes the smell but she even puts Most Wanted, Sauvage Elixir and Stronger with You Absolutely above it. Hope that helps.

So I see that I'm late to the party, lol. I absolutely LOVE ysl la nuit de l'homme. I have about 70 fragrances (I have a small problem, lol) but this is my favorite. If I'm trying to close the deal on a new date, this is what I wear, La Nuit is liquid sex....period. So I literally just brought the Bleu off eBay, I gotta see how this stuff smell, can't wait for it to arrive 😁

@@Hhh-gy2rp Honestly, not worth all the hype. If I would have smelled it before purchasing, I wouldn't have purchased. Its the evolved version of La Nuit de l'homme, more balanced. But if you have the Og version, your good. Its NO way worth what they are selling it for

Went to two department stores last week and neither of them had a tester of Bleu Electrique. Asked the sales rep and she just directed me to Sauvage elixir saying "its better" Didnt rate it at all. Might try again this week.

For me I don’t think you need this frag. In my opinion it kinda smells like bently for men intense which I dislike. Will give it more chances with my 100ml bottle but I expected more of this one. Go for DG the one edp for a ‘date’ ‘night’ scent!!

I just bought a week ago bleu electrique (from sephora) i apply 5 sprays of it, but i just dont feel like it projects anymore after 2-3 hours, and i even ask the ones around me, and they say that they barelly feel it too

It's discontinued. An employee at Macy's told me they had it and it wasn't selling well and that it was too close to the original so it was discontinued. He said the same thing happened with ADG Profumo as it wasn't selling like the og ADG which just blew my mind, but I'm starting to see that fragrance being racked up in price lately.

But I wear it heavy and often, most recently I've enjoyed layering it over top of more vanilla heavy fragrances once they get well into their dry down like gentlemen givenchy Edp, or Mercedes Benz club black and the way Bleu electric explodes off a vanilla undercoat is magical to my nose, it raises the hairs on my arms and neck and gives me that head tingle that shoots down my spine, I couldn't ask for more when wearing a fragrance ^_^

Dude same! I’ve been super curious about this lately. I own The One EDP, Sauvage élixir, jazz club, and Versace eros as my fall/winter scents. So I’d like to think I’d end up liking this. I thought the original LNDL was alright. Gave me a lipstick vibe I wasn’t really feeling, but thought it was nice overall. This has intrigued my interests badly due to the modern twist with it being fresher. I’ve seen a guy on eBay selling this fragrance for $88 for a 60ml, but not sure it’s worth it. Another guy is selling a 30ml decent of it for $75 which to me is definitely not worth it. So I’m not sure. Lmk how you like it tho!

@@J0shuaG0916 elixir is a good one! I’ve seen people argue otherwise but it’s an absolute beast! I usually spray my fragrances behind both my ears, chest, and then shoulder area on my clothes. With most fragrances I’ll do 2 sprays in each of those areas, but with elixir I do only one spray in those areas because otherwise it’ll be too overwhelming with how powerful it is. Easily last all day on me. When I first smelled it on paper it reminded me of a holiday candle and therefore reminded me of home around Christmas time, but now on skin it doesn’t smell like a holiday candle. It’s got that warmth, spiciness, and woods tho that are incredible. I have the original sauvage which is one of my favorites for fresher scents and did not care for the edp nor parfum, but elixir is for sure a great one for the cooler months!

Definitely not the Montale unless you can control the trigger. That fragrance is strong.
Mercedes is sweet as well. Armani Code is probably the best option if the person is gonna get close. La nuit is the second option.

I love this one and the original but neither have any versatility imo. Its like you can only wear them during mating. Other than that, they just dont smell right in normal everyday situations.
