Malta is also one of the safest countries worldwide where you find all nationalities living together. If someone decides to live in Malta he can also apply for bank loan if they work and have a residential address at least 6 months in Malta. You can rent also or purchase.
As a real estate agent working and living in Malta the real estate investment are solid as prices are growing 5-7,9%/annum.

Actually there are 2 people that live on Camino year round.. "Only one family resides on Comino, the Vella family, who are well-known around the Maltese Islands and also have a growing international reputation, so much so, that in 2018, when international blogger Nas Daily visited, he specifically requested an interview with 'Salvu ta' Kemmuna' (Salvu of Comino)."

As a real estate agency owner in Malta. The ideal investment for third country nationals is SDA, especially if they want to rent it out. Otherwise you can only buy outside SDA for private residence but then you can’t rent it out.

Hi. What's the process for mortgage application for foreigners?

Go to all local banks to get the quotes. They will request documents like the promise of sale, property energy efficiency certificate, payslips, FS3s, work contracts, foreign banks' statements, you will have to undergo medical tests for life insurance and the bank's architect has to evaluate the property. The entire process with local banks is slow though, it will take somewhere between 6 to 9 months. Make sure you save at least 6-7% of the property value apart from the down payment before applying for the mortgage. I would suggest to find somebody who has done this because the entire process with the local banks is quite complicated and unfortunately due to local service standards nobody from the bank of real estate agency will assist you with your questions if something is unclear.

I did not have one power cut this year, the water is drinkable and safe but in the busy area I still filter, only to taste better.Traffic is a problem at peak hours but still key places are very reachable within 15 minutes. Yes dust is a problem in March/April but smog exists only in your brain.Roaches around you because you don't clean after eating and because you are to poor not to live in a slum. The more trash leave the country. its better for us all, so that we welcome better individuals or families .
