I'm torn. Button vomiting skull was scary, reminding me of both sea sickness and dysentery. Neither is funny on a ship at sea. But we all know that cats are instruments of pure evil, so it's a tie.
fun fact, the real Stede Bonnet, actually paid his crew a salary, read them stories and taught them all to read and write he was truly the gentleman pirate.
he was also a very shitty pirate but for some reason Blackbeard liked him enough to let him live, and even installed a library for him on his ship. so yk. who knows, maybe the show also got that part right
I hope you continue. This is the funniest show I've seen in a while and for me it just kept getting better the whole season. It's refreshing to me that all the characters just are who they are without offering any explanation or making a big deal of it. The show as a whole is the same way.
This all show was mind-blowing, turning in completely unexpected direction from episode 4, but still full of absurd humor. Waiting for your reactions for next episodes.
Honestly one of my top fav shows rn. Can’t wait for Season 2!! Also- the queer community loves this show for its awesome strides in representation, so it holds a special place in my heart for that.
i think taika waititi's name is pronounced 'tie-kah wuh-teetee', i know you didn't mean any harm but as white people it's important we learn how to pronounce names from other culture's, ESPECIALLY indigineous ones
Are you planning on continuing this series? I absolutely adored it. It would be best to go into it unspoiled if you do, but imo it's incredibly hilarious and yet gets very emotional at times too. The episodes are short which can be a plus or minus depending on the person, but overall I'd say the season didn't suffer from it. The cast is awesome too. Anyway, nice reaction. Only suggestion is work on your audio because it's kinda hard to hear, but otherwise good!
Late to the game here, just discovering your channel, but Taika Waititi is pretty easy to pronounce - "Taika" is Māori for "tiger," so just say "tiger" with a NZ accent (taigah) and replace the G with a K. Waititi is "WHY-tee-tee" (emphasis on the first syllable). It's super easy with practice. Fun fact: young Stede Bonnet is played by Rhys Darby's son Theo I love your reactions! Just watched your reaction to What We Do in the Shadows (the film) and enjoyed it a lot, and OFMD has been my obsession for the past year. Keep doing what you're doing! 💜
piece of advice? might want to even out the volume of the scene with the volume of you talking. This is just a video of you laughing at videos that its hard to hear
The only disappointment in this episode was the reveal of what I just thought was the obligatory woman-in-disguise-on-a-ship-trope. Doubly disappointing as I thought it was actually Blackbeard hiding amongst the crew to instigate a mutiny and take over, mainly because of the big black false beard. Had me fooled for half an episode.
Which is your favourite pirate flag? GIVE ME THE CATS!
I liked the skull barfing buttons
🐈⬛
Skull eating skull - very shiny, very avantgarde
Skeleton barfing buttons!
I'm torn.

Will do! Should have the next in 48 hours
perfect explanation :D
The first 'awww' moment for me was when everyone flags shows up at the end.
Stede, you're indeed a good captain 💙🏴☠️
"Kinda, they've still got... slavery" bro, they're being paid a living wage 😭
:p
I'm offended on Taika Waititi's behalf... Bro, Taikiki 🤣
Anyway, great to see people watching and reacting to this show. It's so good
Because there witches they got knives in there feet got me dying🤣
Lol it was a good show!

I enjoyed your journey from "hmm not sure about this" to "What a good captain" :D
Comedy, well actually that’s about sums it up for Captain Steve Bonnett the gentleman captain real life, Internet historian did a great video on him
I had no idea this was based on a real person!
@@GlenOwen they real story is alot better. But I enjoyed this show as a bit of fun.
The most amazing thing is that the historical guy actually paid wages to his crew 😂

Oh yeah I know I butchered that a ton

I’ll have another one out soon! I hear you on the audio thing!!!
Ty for the feedback :)
@@GlenOwen Looking forward to it!
“takiki watiti” is the best pronunciation i have ever heard
Yeah I get skewered in future episodes by the community lol.
the wage thing was something the real life stede bonnet did fun fact
Can't wait to see more!
Another one soon!
Cat's flag of coursee
Hundo P
I didn’t see the button vomiting skull flag flying!
It may have gotten stained during the melee in the dining room. Might need to be dry cleaned before being displayed.
subscribed so i can watch the entire series with you!

I don’t have HBO max so I’m watching this instead
Review Peacemaker next!
We will see! It’s already been done and it probably won’t get much traction. Love you and Diana EXO
@@GlenOwen Probably worth doing it anyway though so when S2 comes out you'll be able to do videos as it's still going.

You are right. I realized it during editing, thanks for the feedback!
