I genuinely think the genius of Tori Amos is her music is like a soundtrack to your life. Not because they were the sounds you grew up with but because it sounds like a feeling you've had, a moment you've had, a love you lost, a love you found and so on. It' sounds like somewhere else but it lives next door. And her words are sometimes what you're thinking and sometimes what your afraid to admit to lol Beautiful

Superb performance by the band on this too. That drum groove is so light on it's feet, lovely stuff. The guitars are excellently finger picky and slightly tawngingly spooky and the bass sits just perfect. Always a masterclass in supportive underplaying from the band 10/10

I had two tickets to her concert tonight, in KC. I couldn't find a date though. The seats were about fifteen rows back, dead center. I'm disappointed that I missed it.
