I would like to get a better understanding on selling Items in the game. How to use a guild trader and the slang used to sell in chat. I have been playing for two years and have never sold anything due to not knowing. Thank you. By the way, I thing you have a great site here and you explain things very well.
Thank you so much, James! I have a video explaining how to use guild traders, so I definitely recommend checking that out. As far as the chat slang goes, WTS means want to sell and WTB means want to buy. You might also see COD (cash on delivery), which means the person wants you to mail the item(s) to them and request gold inside of the mail. Happy to answer any other questions you might have!
Not necessarily. You just need to get each crafting skill line to 50 and put skill points only into the first skill in each of those lines so you can do level 10 writs. No need to research traits or learn motifs on more than one character.
You don’t absolutely need it per say, but it does make inventory management A LOT easier. I did another video on ESO+ that includes some tips on managing inventory with the subscription. Check it out if you’re on the fence about paying for plus!
Absolutely! You would just need to select the appropriate level at each respective crafting station. I’d recommend making the lower-level armor with the training trait to help increase experience gains.
@@TheESOTips Oh great! I've been leveling my crafting with my first character with that intent, but I wasn't sure it was even possible. Good to know. Thanks for the great videos!
I would except that the pay to win inventory only comes with plus. I am not paying $18/month just for that. The stories are not good enough and are written for 5 years olds. I guess the scheme is to annoy players who are not in ESO+ to either pay or quit the game. Right now the only berable way to play the game for non ESO+ is to completely ignore crafting an PVP. And just take it as a lesser, but more longer, version of skyrim.
Yeah crafting is pretty difficult without plus. I don’t know of any reason why you couldn’t PvP without plus though, especially with siege being stackable now. And for the record, the craft bag and additional storage space aren’t the only benefit of plus. You also get all DLC except the most recent chapter, a crown allotment, increased experience gains, the list goes on. I also kind of take issue with the piece about the story writing. Most of the game is very well written from my perspective - even some of the side quests are quite interesting. There are a few duds in there, sure, but overall I think ZOS does a good job with storytelling. BTW, there are a few ways to get more storage space without plus. If you’re interested, I also have an ESO+ video in which I talk through some of those methods for people who don’t have the membership.
😦 You’ve been missing out on so much gold! Not to mention improvement materials. Hope this inspires you to get certified so you can start doing those daily writs!
@@jacobharper9236 indeed! Another huge benefit of doing daily writs is that they’re a super easy way to get Jubilee boxes during the anniversary event. Tons of benefits for just a small time investment!
Good video!

Thank you! 😊
New player here, do Daily writs on all chars, so all your chars should be crafters?
Not necessarily. You just need to get each crafting skill line to 50 and put skill points only into the first skill in each of those lines so you can do level 10 writs. No need to research traits or learn motifs on more than one character.
@@TheESOTips thanks so mutch for the help

crafting seems so hard. Do i need eso plus for the infinite crafting bag ????

Can a higher level fella craft armor for an alt that is lower level?

Blood gold>divine gold 😉
Depends on the material I think, but I agree blood gold does look very nice. Especially on fabric!
