Mulefoot Pigs

This is a documentary about Mulefoot pigs. Mulefoot are a heritage breed, meaning they were found on farms 100 years ago. Their syndactyl feet is their primary breed characteristic. This means they have a single toe on each foot instead of a split hoof.

We raise mulefoot and Hampshires. The Hampshire meat is excellent but the mulefoot is out of this world. We breed a mulefoot boar to a Hampshire guilt and just had piglets. Looking forward to seeing how the meat turns out.
