I'm a little confused - how does the oxidation step for H2O2 carry out for cope elimination? I'm confused on how the O- attaches in the first step. Thank you so much for the video!

Hey there - the lone pair on the N atom acts as a Lewis base and attacks one of the 'O' atoms in HO-OH to add an OH group to the amine (hydroxyamine). The OH group is then deprotonated by the -OH left behind in the first step to form the amine oxide. I hope that helps!
