Missed opportunity. They should have had Lafou narrate this story as if he was selling the idea that he was responsible for hooking them up to the audience. Then the continuity errors would seem comical instead of cringeworthy.

Lefou was in the kill the beast song so him being a peeping tom then saw the marching mob kinda screws up the editing and story
