In this video tutorial, Joshua Casper will show you how to do FX Automation in Serato Studio. You will learn how to automated FX on and off, and also change the amount of the effect over time. You can do this in the drum sequencer for the entire sequence or any one of the drum channels individually. You can also do this with Sample Sequences, Instrument Sequences, Individual Sample Slices, and other locations in Serato Sample.

So id like to turn off the velocity on my midi keyboard on serato, so every note is even volume regardless of how hard i press it on my midi but i can't figure out how to do it

I have a scene 2 bars long. Is it possible to copy volume automation from the first bar and paste it in the second? I tried using selection mode but that only seems to copy the pattern.

I find automating an LPF fx slowly upwards, is great for fades. However, it does take a slot up on the three fx you seem to be capable of doing at a time in serato :/

I have a question!: If I aplly the FX e.g. to a melody - is it possible that the FX will only be applied e.g. in scene 2 and not in the intro of the song? Or do the FX always apply to the whole song if I use em?...

I think you should create an specific scene for the intros and outros.

Cause what I've experienced is that the melody will keep the fx over all of the scenes...

@@flyjayofficial Whenever you click "add scene" it copies whatever scene you're currently clicked into. It can be a hassle at times, but it does copy fx I believe.
