This is my favorite song of all time. I have ventured great lengths to see Counting Crows. Every mile was worth it. There is nothing insignificant to this band. From my first hearing it, to them becoming my favorite band, to every show seeing them, to now. Counting Crows forever.
Easily my favorite song of all time. When added with Thunder Road, the heavens open and my heart feels peace. Just amazing. I don't really know what else to say.
I remember about 15 years ago I saw the Crows In Portland OR with my teenage son & they started playing this & a teenage woman tapped me on the shoulder & asked me what the song was. I said Thunder Road & she shook her head, she didn't know. I told her Bruce Springsteen Tunder Road, it's on his Born To Run album. Listen to it. I hope she did
'Thank You Adam'. ' Am happy we connect from the 'heart' You know I Love being 'emotionally' 'Generous' with 'You' and 'I Love You'. 'Your Darling Wife'. XXX
I like it - interesting interpretation. But better than Bruce's? That's just silly. In particular, he especially screws up ,"you ain't a beauty, but 'ey you're alright, and that's alright with me." Bruce inflects in such a way that he could get away with saying it to a girl. Adam makes it sound like the back-handed compliment that it is.
'Thank You' 4 'Beautiful' 'Music' 'Lyrics'. 'Ok' and that's were am 'Happy' 'My hand in your's with you 'Adam'and 'Sharing are Feelings'. 'I Love You' 'Your Darling Wife'. XXX

I can't count the times that I've I lost myself in this soulful song of confusion- as i cry and question life, because I'm the rain king.
I cannot listen to this without crying.
These guys are amazing! Such a talented group of musicians! Seen them a dozen times.... The improv these guys pull off is terrific!

This is easily their best cover of this song out of the three or four versions I've heard.
This is my favourite song
They, as a band, are fucking unbelievable. You are a genius, Adam.
Love it! I always love their improv
This Thunder Road... It's better than the original. Much more heartfelt.
Best version of this song hands down.

that's because he's not trying to copy bruce, he's interpreting it in a different way.
Mid song cover of Bruce rips
Way better than the Boss. Just because he did it first doesn't mean he did it better.
not better then the bruce version. no way. interesting, but not better.
