stop coping. the only reason you even had a chance in game 2 is because T1 threw. it was never your game to win in the first place. outclassed in every possible way.
The reasoning here is that if T1 gets Elder+Baron it is lost 99.9%. So you have nothing to lose. Either you try an "impossible" steal (which is not in reality impossible, there is room for error every time) or you lose. Even if Yike dies trying it does not matter. It probably enhances the lose chance to 99.99%... And who cares at that point, right?
@@petrrut8544ive seen teams fend of baron+elder before so its not impossible either. The chances are low and even if he succeeds they will still have baron anyway. Failing there and dying insta ends the game.
@@petrrut8544no it's impossible. Yike knows T1 is so good at securing Dragon or Baron with Oner and Guma. They do this everytime when Guma is on Varus,Kalista and Jhin. They mastered syncing their abilities with smite to secure objectives because of their iconic T1 baron plays and Yike would 100% just be looking like a clown right there.
@@ronryanlopez9993 I dunno, I still think they had a better chance at a surprise flash steal than at a systematic baron-elder defence of their base, especially considering the fact that they were not able to win team fights decisively during the late game.
@@ronryanlopez9993 that's true they mastered that thing but there's still a room for possibility there. A one split second of double or single digit hp Elder with Yike smite is not entirely impossible but the chance is so small we are talking bunch of zeroes after a point here that somehow Oner and Guma leave that space and Yike does it. Now, the question after that is, since Yike will 100% die doing that and by chance they steal it, what's next? Cause BB and Hans (iirc idk correct me if I'm wrong) against a 5 baron buff T1. Either BB gets a mega gnar combo there and lower T1 hp to activate the execution and probably they win or T1 just push all the lanes and made them suffocate inside their base. All of this are what if already but yeah, we can't fault Yike on his decision since they're the one in front of the screen.
Doesn't matter he has to try. G2's options in this situation are A) take the 1% chance of them fucking up elder and stealing it, or B) take the 0.1% chance of them fucking up the elder + baron 5 man push down mid. It's a doomed game anyways. Both options aren't likely in the slightest but 1 of them has a better chance of getting lucky.
48:41 DL finally came around later after listening longer but Meteos is straight up tripping here. Like sure if all 5 players of the enemy team have a stroke simultaneously while they are pushing then yeah you can win vs elder + baron. Team comp also matters and T1 has insane pick potential and with elder it makes it so people can't just walk up tank half their hp bar and maybe flash away or barely get out. It is technically possible to win vs elder + baron but that's more of an issue of all 5 players on the enemy team making catastrophic mistakes assuming they are all 5 manning down a lane.
When Jax is getting zhonyas before Kennen there's something seriously seriously wrong with itemization choices. I'm not a pro, they are, but like, you CANNOT tell me that was the correct decision to build Liandry's Shadowflame Void and then start a deathcap instead of seeker's/zhonyas.
has vision, doesn't get zoned, still doesn't try to steal the game-winning elder... please get this Yike guy out of G2, I don't get why he's been there for so long when looking so mediocre
@@StevenHan-d5q Are you not thinking at all? You're only thinking about the near sighted result of losing his flash and GA for attempting the smite. I'm looking at this situation, seeing G2 about to be faced up against Elder+baron and T1 rushing down 1 lane to end the game and it's either try to flip it right now or auto-lose later. Silver players will try and say "ive seen teams win vs elder + baron!" which means nothing when we are talking about solo queue vs the highest level of competitive play. T1 would need to have all 5 players have a stroke on stage for G2 to win vs elder+baron. It's not that it's a "100% absolute" guaranteed to win but it's even more rare than reverse sweeping in a best of 5 being down 0-2. Is it possible to reverse sweep? Yes, but would you bet your tournament chances on doing that instead of trying to win the first 2 games? I sure as hell hope not.
Idk how sneaky miss this as a former pro adc player. Yike would be dead even if he got the elder. T1 would still get baron and m 5v4 them at base to still ends since only 2 member on g2 team would have elder and that is assuming yike somehow get the smite vs Jhin who outsmite him with the 4th shot.
@@oreoyo5639 It does out smite but that's not the point. Sneaky didn't miss anything lol. He is saying that the game is an auto-loss for G2 if T1 gets Elder + Baron anyways so he might as well go for a hail mary steal. Just look how the game ended anyways. Noc ulted in on the Jhin ulting in front of their nexus towers, he had to immediately flash out and was half hp. Jhin 4th shot would proc elder which would proc his GA and then they just end anyways like they did. He has to try to steal. This is like taking a 1% chance of maybe stealing vs taking a 0.1% chance of defending at nexus towers vs baron + elder.
It is the worst soul. It's just this is the very incredibly niche moment where it actually gets value. Having a conditional 11% more dmg + dmg reduction rarely ever is going to matter. The times where being 11% more tanky matters is almost none at all because 99% of the time in league if you are getting low and are in kill range they're going to be able to kill you it'll just take another auto or ability.
