Well apologies I had no idea that Hyundai was Korean and in fact not Japanese! You learn something new everyday. I don’t know how a chicken Chow Mein turned into a Chicken Katsu but hey ho 😂. Really hope you’re all enjoying these new vehicles every week, I know I really loved being back in a smaller set up!

The girlfriend and I are loving watching this series. Only just found you so binge watched. So many of the vehicles that you’ve chosen we of interest: we’ve thought of converting a Hyundai i800; I used to have a 68 vw and the engine cutting out is exactly what owning one is like; we saw that folding caravan at a campsite and wondered what it was like; thinking of a roof tent…all of it. All great stuff. There are hundreds of self build campers cooking a meal stealth camping channel but what you’re doing here is unique and we love it. Hope you can keep this going.

Amazing little van build. I have a Honda Elysion which is a similar size. Also did the inside myself with a kitchen, dining table and double bed. Some faff involved but shows what you can squeeze into that space. Kudos to the owner!

Another beauty,lovely and compact. I did kaugh when you said you wanted to work on a farm,and I thought, I bet someone will invite you to do so,I for sure will be watching for that. A super van,my kind of van.Bummer being kicked out, but at least found somewhere,and had a super sleep. Loving the series.

Hi Will, that was a cosy camp, a sweet little van, for smaller people I reckon, I’m 5f 8 , it may be to low for me, being that it’s small, it’s probably quite warm, I guess with that type of vehicle, you could park up on the streets. I have one of these, kitchen unit, double bed and kept centre seats for the kids.
Hard top roof tent, comfortably sleeps 2 adults and 2 kids, we love it👍
We do too. Double tri-fold bed. Still have the back row of seats. Kitchen out the back.
Fold up the bed and we can have five people in the van. We have travelled 7+ week and various shorter trip. All weathers. It serves us well. Love it.

Headroom depends on the height of the seating. I am 6 foot and am not as cramped as Will was.

Can tell that youre having fun 😂 Makes me want to get myself a van for full time living but my mrs is having none if it (made worse by the fact that shes the only one with a license 😂 ive brought it up numerous times in the last few years) she's always telling me not to get any ideas when im "caught" watching 😂😂😂

These are considered weekenders in NZ and the 4wd versions are very popular. There are several companies that specialise in converting them

Here in NZ they are blocking off all open places to freedom camp (park up). The campervan layout is brilliant

Great set up. Love the van/car. I kept shouting to remove the cushions when at the table. The foam looked to be 4 inch depth/thickness and firm so you personally would have gained that behind and beneath at least whilst eating. 😂 I love those pull out kitchens too! Sad that Derbyshire is making it difficult to park up in what is such a beautiful picturesque county. 😢 Looking forward to next video. 😘

Not a bad little van, especially if you’re not as tall. Shame about all the blocked off park ups, maybe you could get a small campsite for another one and review that too at the same time.

Loved it! The head room issue bought back memories of my Bongo, the bench seat/bed I had in that was just a *bit* too high for me to sit comfortably.
Sad that it was so difficult for you guys to find a park up though, that does seem to be becoming more of a thing. And I really don't get it in some places because surely having people stay locally over night would mean money being spent there? Very sad.

We have this problem with some areas here in New Zealand. It is because the few who litter, leave faeces uncovered and toilet paper clinging to the shrubbery, spoil it for everyone else.
@@WillsWhereabouts I saw this happening in the US also. Now some rest stops I saw and heard that the maximum resting time is like 3 or 4 hours. Some tell you that you are not allowed to stay overnight, etc

Jeramy would have set it on fire by now lol. 🤣 You have also highlighted the problem we now HAVE after covid and thousands of people abusing the free park ups? also trashing the locations the council have now stopped it, and it will never go back to how it was. That's not really a katsu though, as you need the chicken to be covered with panko bread crumb first. The dish you made seems to be a chicken stir fry
This on looks well planned out but reminds me too much of my Vauxhall zafira, I enjoyed it but way too small.

I have a Japanese(!!) version of this as my camper. Love it, perfect for just me and my dog, goes anywhere, fits anywhere, but I do have a pop top on mine so more space. This is a layout I haven't seen though, very unique!
