So the stock gear is 3.50-ish. for a track car that lives at 5-6k I'm thinking maybe 3.90. that'll be about 3K at freeway speed in 6th but really help big time with acceleration out of turns. I could just imagine how great that would feel with the VQ's awesome torque in 3rd and 4th gear.
quick question, why did you need to switch the stub axles to make it work? I watched both videos but maybe I missed it. I swapped in a g37 differential without changing those but what do you mean by making it work?
First

I switched them because of the sensors reading the 46 teeth vs the 48 teeth on the stub axles. Just wanted to make sure everything reads correctly.
@@2FIRacing read as in the speedometer? maybe that's what I should have done lol. I'm like 5 mph off and after 60mph I've off by 8mph
Oh yeah that’ll definitely do that. The teeth are important to get correct readings. But it’ll work without as you know.
I have a 2007 5at HR. can i use a 3.69 from a g37 auto without any modifications?
If your new diff is 46 teeth on the stub axles. Then nothing. But if it’s 48 teeth you’ll need new stub axles that have 46 teeth.
Is it feet 2004 350z automatic??
