I'm sorry, I'm fascinated, how can you set decals crooked? The left wing on top - the Czechoslovak sovereign emblem is rotated at least 25 degrees! (16:50) Every one of them is somehow wrong... The red-white edge should always follow the forward direction, horizontal with the axis of the aircraft. Look at the plan.
Hi , if you finished Painting then varnisch , let it dry 12 hr then do decals and let them sit also for 12 hr , then varnish again and 12 hr later you good to go on weathering, i think i just cut out some details in the Video because its to long
Nice result . As already said the extra effort on the rivets was worth it. You dont see these being made often and I have one in the stash . Ugly aeroplane but a good model. Thanks.
I usually let every coat dry at least 6 hours , for the black gloss coat i recommend using Mr Hobby Gloss H-002 , i tried to use AK Black Base coat , but i have some drying problems with it after hitting it with AK Aluminum
I had lots of trouble with them not drying but then watched Phil Flory say should really apply them in thin layers. Avoiding passing over areas where it already has been applied. Look at it as plating rather than painting. Dukel Hobby Albatros build on youtube shows the proper Xtreme Metal application.
@@TheModelGuy Yeah i watched Dukel Hobby too, we can defenetly learn a lot from him , he is a true master modeler here is a link to his Channel: ruclips.net/channel/UCCfcuCnYGFg9-qlx1cEm7yQ
I use "Paint" in Windows ,you can change the precentage of the scale , then i print one Paper leaf and hold a Wing or a fuselage half against the leaf , then you can see if it the right scale or not and adjust in Paint again
Perfectly outclassed man ❤❤❤❤
The extra effort you put in by adding the rivet details pays off
Nein

and where the guns are on the fuselage under the cockpit, it was necessary to make it darker there is always dark metal
How long are you letting the AK Xtreme Polished Aluminum dry before hitting it with clear? I keep having some wipe off days after its applied.

@@Headmod maybe I have a bad bottle. I've let a mule dry untouched for three days and it still lifted with de-tacked washi tape in a few spots.

the position of Czechoslovak characters has its rules, it's bad on the model, it's a shame
Roundels !! Very bad alignment
