When you talked about asking yourself whether an item is priced as a good deal or if it’s just the marketing, I resonated with that-and was excited you mentioned Honey. I’ve had my eye on an item for a few weeks wondering what the Black Friday deal could be. I get texts about sales from the store and recently got an “20% OFF EVERYTHING” text notification… well, I’d already budgeted to pay 20% less because I found a code on Honey 😂 so unfortunately, that might be the lowest price point the retailer sells the item for, but it was good to know I could dismiss the text notification I got as a marketing ploy.

Black Friday shopping gets out of control quickly. There are good deals but you have to sift a bit for them. When we were younger, we overbought on Black Friday but now we track items through the year and see whether or not a sale is really happening. Great video!
