  • 1 big pineapple (weight with skin 1.5kgs weight after peeling 860 grams )
    Chop the pineapple & keep aside 2 big pcs
    Roughly grind the pineapple pcs in a coarse paste don't make a fine paste you can also grate it or chop it in a chopper
    Finely chop the 2 big pcs which we have kept aside
    Heat 2 tbsp ghee
    Add 1/4 cup thickly chopped nuts (almomds pistachios cashews)
    Fry till golden brown
    Remove & keep aside
    Heat 1 tbsp ghee
    Add 200 grams greated khoya/ mawa & cook in medium flame for 3-4 minutes by stirring in continuously
    Remove & set aside
    In the same pan add 1/4 cup ghee, 1/2 sugar, grated pineapple & chopped pineapple pcs
    Mix well & cook for 15-20 minutes or until the excess water dries
    Now add in the khoya
    1/2 tsp elaichi powder
    1 big pinch kesar soaked in 1 tbsp hot milk
    1/4 tsp yellow food colour (optional)
    & mix well
    Cook for 5 minutes
    Add the fried nuts mix & serve
